Hey Tim, I thought a guy with deep roots like you would have a 13/14 Shelby. I believe you signed the certificate on my 97 cobra too -
^^^^ you have got it all over your mouth too!!??? Thought I was the only one
-
Yeah! That looks wayyy better. I have not touched one of these kits in years. Had a 1:1 SHO for a few weeks once. Lol.
-
Looks good. Put a black wash in between the intake runners. Make that SHO pop!

Taking a break from my Bel-Air to work on this

Pink was offered but quite rare in 67-68 on the mustang. Special order paint could be had from any ford,Lincoln, mercury color chart all through the 60s on a mustang -
Drooling over the new Mustang...

I have had a tendency to only get SVT products so now that I have the 14 I will wait until the SVTversion of this new car comes and add one of those. And as for sunroofs, once you try a glass roof car you won't go back. Best option I put on my Shelby hands down. My other one is a convertible so I just pick one. Lol -
Looks like the base color was not cured enough and the clear was too heavy which led to it reacting. Happens to metallics.

Yeah! Twin turbo 5.9 cummins...

Thanks guys. I have been messing around with it the last couple days. Replaced a couple fuses and got everything working properly. The dreaded power seat quitting issue and I had to reset the airbag light which is also a common thing. I bought a yellow 95 gt brand new so it was a familiar car. I still have 1 sn95 car (my cobra) but now my newer stuff is all s197 based with my Shelby's

I find a little heat in the can helps that clear flow better. How hot was it when you sprayed. Some of that looks like solvent popping too

Being an avid car guy and mustang owner I am pleased to show you guys the latest one. I made a very special 16 hour round trip with my dad and my daughter to pick this up yesterday. My oldest child, my daughter Tylar who is 15 and will be 16 on June 26 has been working like a dog for this day. She bought and paid for her own mustang! We looked at dozens and she chose this one. This makes 9 in the stable and even though it's not the biggest baddest or rarest in the stable it's special because it's hers. She found it, talked to the seller, did everything with a little help from me. I am very proud it's a 94 GT. 5.0 automatic. It has about 80k on the clock. Runs great. We are going to do a few little things to it together. Now she has to get her licence! Test is booked for day after her birthday and I'm sure she will nail it. Now I worry because her brothers are ultra jealous so I can see mustangs 10-11 coming pretty soon...

70 hemi cuda "what if" build * July 19 update. Very close now
freakshow12 replied to freakshow12's topic in WIP: Model Cars
got a little work done on the hemi. Nothing too fancy since I don't plan to remove the shaker. Still will add fuel line and some other doo dad's -
Awesome build but I am a little partial to the subject. Did you know the car in the movie was the first one available for public sale and the movie purchased it

Looks really good. The gold looking coating on front suspension is cosmoline. It should also be on rear springs. It's a mopar thing. Some cars have it back there some don't. Same as the rear wheel well blackouts

Have a few things coming along. The hemi is taking shape, the chassis is taking shape and I just had to open the grille up. That eats up time! Holy! -

Love it! I used that color on my blown nova a couple years back. Orange but not slap you in the face orange -
Yup I love the "stripper" muscle cars. Only real option my model is getting are the rocker trim and the painted bumpers. It's how I would have ordered one in 70
