  1. Where can I get one??
  2. That's a cool car! Bet you wish you had kept it
  3. Welcome. We have all been where you are. There are a bunch of talented people here but what I like is how humble everyone is. I try and take one thing I see on every build and try and do it. The biggest thing to remember are the basics first. Anyone can throw a bunch of stuff on a model but if the core stuff is not done properly then it's a waste.. Just remember to have fun and build for you : )
  4. It's back on the bench yet again. Gotta get it done! Lol
  5. Check out the 65 impala pro street WIP or search for my 69 super bee WIP. It's back a ways on the workbench section but it's all in there
  6. I just built my first cage today! I used the 062 and agree with Tyrone. It may look a bit small at first but once it's done it's just about right. Keep it up, you do great stuff for 15!
  7. That is looking great. I am partial to tan interiors so that helps. Haha
  8. ^^^^yeeeeaaaahhhh riiiiigggghhhhhttt....
  9. I have a couple friends with these. They are very cool indeed.
  10. That is looking so good!
  11. Nothing looks more like rubber than rubber so here's what I do. When I sand my slicks with coarse paper I save the sanded off rubber. I then take white glue thinned down and paint it on the wheel wells and quarters then sprinkle the rubber on. Think of it like flocking but with rubber
  12. I showed a couple guys how to make them. Stan built one for his impala pro street
  13. Coolest thing ever! Beautiful work
  14. I have everything needed to do this project. I used the decals and they are nice but thin and want to crack a bit. My suggestion is paint all white portions of body then apply decals. ( this is where I'm at). And get 2 sets to be safe
  15. It's the 96-8 4.6 dohc cobra engine mated to the glass jawed t45 5 speed.
  16. Excellent. Will they be complete kits or will I need a 1/16 t bird for the engine etc?
  17. That turned out sweet
  18. Yup that looks better. Now you got me going on one. Thinking blue with white and slammed
  19. I was just admiring this again but I noticed that shifter won't work any way you mount it. You have a lenco behind that monster. You need a few shifters...
  20. Thanks for the info. I have not picked up the kit yet but I will figure something out for the seats. I think it can be done realistically with different textures like you suggested. There are actually a ton of small changes to make the 10 into a 13/14 but I think I can do it and I will maybe have the conversion parts cast if anyone is wanting them. I wonder if they will re tool this to do a boss 302?...
  21. Yeah it would be tricky. The flash was on as it's in the garage so they blend in pretty good. What I was really trying to capture is where the stripes are. Does the kit have those lines molded in? Then there is the obstacle of making the glass roof...
  22. Quit it already!! You make my head hurt with all this awesomeness!!! Great work
  23. Are you going to make enough for the rest of us?.... Outstanding!
  24. Here is my 1:1 14 seat. The stripes are not perforated but the rest is in the middle. I will be changing this kit to 14 specs but this may be my biggest hurdle...
  25. Sorry chuck. Yours turned out great. I'm not sure why they molded the snout into the front cover. Guessing for positive placement of all parts. May I ask if the seats have the embossing where the stripes go? On black stripe cars ( like mine) the stitching is on the seats so there are still stripes in the seats just that they blend in
