  1. The svo rub strips actually fit inside the channel in the door skin that the regular rub strips sit on. I will find a pic
  2. All stainless. Most convertibles are this way the inside of pillars is interior color
  3. All stainless. Most convertibles are this way
  4. Turned out pretty darned good if you ask me!
  5. Coming nicely. It's a 4 speed so no dipstick...
  6. Very nice build. I wish there was an up top for this kit
  7. Where did you get the grille?? And if you made it please cast it so I can have one! Lol
  8. Here are the 3 rear bumpers. The LX, the GT and finally again the COBRA. See the differences?
  9. Incorrect. The mustang GT has turndown tips. The cobra uses the straight and polished lx tips with a specific rear bumper
  10. Little big. That works out to about a 4 inch exhaust.
  11. Yeah, Goldberg is a real car guy. I like watching the vids of him driving the lawman
  12. Looks better. Revell got this bumper sooooo wrong. The cutouts should barely infringe on that lower lip. Lx tips were used on the cobra. You can see how it should look as on this beauty
  13. Also the 93 cobra bumper needs help. See where I taped? All that below has to go. They quickly added that to get the look. Here is how to roughly fix it in 5 minutes. Lol. Cut that off. The lightly recut the cutouts in higher up. Tip needs to be shorter but you get the idea? Hope that helps but now you have put a 93 cobra on my bench....
  14. Here ya go. I used silver solid core lead free solder. 3mm which is about the same as 3 inch tailpipes in scale. Roughly bent it up same as stock pipe. Drilled the slash cut end. I would paint that black inside if it were on a model. Measured where kit hole was for mount and figured out length. Added a pin to mount in muffler. Took me 10 mins tops.
  15. Yup. Give me a few minutes and I will post a picture. I will go make one right now
  16. I make the over axle part out of solder and polish it. Make a hangar where the hole is in the chassis like the 1:1 has
  17. I make the over axle part out of solder and polish it
  18. Nice start. Actually the svo mustangs were good performers vs the 5.0 I'm the 2.5 yrs they were made. They definitely out handled the mustang gt of the time. Cost was a big factor to there not being more of them
  19. Anyone still doing this? I just stretched the wheel wells on a 67 chevelle I'm playing with...
  20. Thanks for all the kind words. The Torino started as the rm Torino cobra kit. I bought 2 cases of these as well as 2 of the Torino gt. They can be had for reasonable prices online. I am working with a guy here to make the twister 2 decals and the 09 twister decals. I will build all of them someday. They built 4 twister rancheros in 70 as well. A real one has never been found
  21. What size is the cage tubing?
  22. I think I have a few more. I will look. They didn't want to open the car up too badly as it was not ready for display yet
  23. Here it is in the vault when is was down there a few years ago
  24. You are doing a nice job on these. I would say the piping may be a little big and yes the headrests should just sit on the seats. If you need reference pics of something I can snap pics of anything on the 5 sets of these seats I have kicking around
