  1. Pearl white would look awesome. Or even model master white lightning. I used that on a 49 merc
  2. That is looking great! Body color?
  3. Thanks guys. I am really thinking the white stripe and painted bumpers are going to bring it all together
  4. Please do. I am currently fighting that hood latch plate at the front. Everything is in where it needs to be on the locator pins and everything and it seems to be about 1-1.5 mm too long! I will get it though
  5. The mustang mach III would also work as a donor. That's where the 03/4 cobra engine first appeared to public eyes
  6. That is just great! I see how much more clearance you have than I did on the shaker. I have a few more of these to do so I will make adjustments on those ones
  7. I got a bit more in on this. Car is dirty so don't mind that. Here is the stance I think I'm going with. It's using the lowered suspension. I think it just looks right even if it's stock. Engine bay nearly done. Couple decals and wiper motor. The hood latch plate is giving me fits. It's too long! I didn't get too carried away on this one as the shaker covers most things. Let me know what you think...
  8. Turning out killer. Are you going to paint the rear window trim?
  9. My 15 yr old daughter just bought this 91k mile 94 gt a month ago. She just turned 16 end of June so now she has to get her licence. She saved money from her after school job, found the car on her own and even negotiated price once I checked it out. All I had to do was taker her on the 14 hour trip to get it. It's pretty nice for a 20 yr old car. It's a 5.0 auto. Tan cloth interior. Hers makes 9 in the stable! Brought back memories for me since I bought a canary yellow 95 gt brand new. Where did 20 years go??
  10. You may need a 3:73 or 4:10 gear with that cam too. The stick cars can be pretty consistent if set up it's more how scary they can be mid track on the shifts if they unload the tires on the shift you won't need an auto really until you are solidly in the 10's but you will need a stronger t5 and axles well before that
  11. Anderson cams are awesome. He spends a ton of time on development. You will run out of heads before you will cam with that choice
  12. Just makes me laugh that everyone thinks this car will be a world beater with 707 hp. Most forget it's almost 4500 lbs. don't get me wrong. I will very likely get one as it's a bad habit for me.
  13. Just 3 of mine added up are 1743 at the tire! The 14 Shelby now makes 750 at the wheels. The 07 Shelby makes 525 at the wheels and my 97 cobra makes 468 at the tire.
  14. That turned out great. As you can see, every car and color is different. On my own car the gaps are pretty black. I think it looked good either way
  15. Nice looking 95 what's in it?
  16. I also just sanded a small notch on the underside for wire clearance. Once it's painted you can't see it. I have not been at mine in a few days either. I also tried to sand open the shaker grilles. Don't do that! Lol. Failed miserably. And for the work it didn't change the look of it
  17. Just a question for you guys, how many of you have been in or driven a car with that kind of power?
  18. There are two of them there are there not?
  19. You guys crack me up It's also what 9000 lbs looks like
  20. Great start. Looks like a bit of work to get the hood/ bumper fitting properly
  21. Ugghhhh. We have had non stop rain. Like over a foot since may. We get 3-5 inches at a time
  22. I use the white acryl primer in the small testors glass jar.
  23. Looks good. I must say it's ALWAYS worth the effort to nail a stance. It's a deal breaker for me in models and real cars
  24. Turned out very nice. I would be proud of it
