Hey everyone. Just got this off my bench. About 6 weeks to build which is fast for me. I built this as a what if car. Meaning what if I had ordered one new, what would it look like? This is it. Paint is Tamiya/ testors wet look clear. Interior is console delete and no wood grain. Painted bumpers, stance is lowered a bit with rims from 68 charger and modified caps from roscoes police car. Tires from a 69 hurst olds Engine is wired. I opened up the grille as well. Not my most detailed build but a nice little slump buster for me. If I knew how to post a link to the WIP I would. Enjoy and comments welcome Ps. I will get better pics outside when the rain stops

I agree. I only noticed it while I was sanding an oil pan. Then once I re sprayed it, there it was. Subtle and fine flake but it is there

It's a great kit. Enjoy it

Or foil the backside. I do that and it works good -
Absolutely. Everone does it. What do you thing the big 3 use as benchmarks when building halo cars? And the vette guys have no problems wanting to race our halo cars so should I be telling the next vette guy that wants a go that it's not fair cause it's not the same type of car ? Lol. I won't, I just love showing tail lights to vettes

The 70 wing was generic and the same as the ones ford used in 70. The 71 wing is the one used in the amt duster kit

That's a good tip. I usually grab what I can from the car dealers for rods and stuff. But I do need to get some earlier factory colors. They can't all be black or white lol

Looks great. What did you use on interior for paint. Would be awesome to see all of our cudas together!

The only car both the Shelby guys( myself included) and the hellcat guys should fear is the upcoming C7 Z06. I already know that it takes nothing to get the 45 hp the dodge has on my car and I have already surpassed that. I added 2500 worth of parts and surpassed 750 at the tires! That's without an upper pulley swap to boot. Dodges electronics are what hold this engine back. Betting dodge has it sealed up pretty good there to keep the mod bugs out. I can't wait to see though

Yeah. They actually have to get the production car out yet. Not yet availible to order and it was supposed to be a couple weeks ago. Few things they need to change to keep the Feds happy -
Thanks. I think at the time I sold it the economy was better and this one sold for around 250. I had a mazmanian willys go for 1k and I was commissioned to do a grumpys toy camaro for 1k to the same buyer. I had a great winter. The same buyer also took my landy charger for 800

Gonna look good. I am kind of fond of Shelby's...
