  1. Thanks. The filter is from the old ram viper truck. Had it in my stash, putting the engine in a challenger and making twin intakes to inner headlights
  2. Engine is in for last time. Just gotta add the upper rad hose
  3. These engines are liquid intercooled. No big piping
  4. I just threw up in my mouth a bit
  5. What I would do with that is turn it back and tie it in to the firewall so it looks like it's pulling air through the cowl vent. Seen it done on a 1:1 build. Pretty slick
  6. Excellent work Jim. I really enjoyed our chat we had a while back. Have to do that again once I am home from my lacrosse trip. How did you scribe that panel detail so crisply?
  7. Go around the top line with super glue then sand it. I rarely use bondo for this type of work. Then prime and seal. Boom!, no ghost lines
  8. You see motor trends review? It was slower in all areas compared to the 13/14 gt500. They claimed sticky tires would help it beat the Shelby but I already have sticky tires on mine so there goes that theory. Hope these hero numbers from dodge don't bite them in the butt in the real world. I can't wait to see...
  9. Then what I would do is trim the distributor shaft some to drop it down some. In 1:1 the top of distributor with plug wires attached is flush with the top corner of pass side valve cover. I have done this swap myself and I also know that for the street hemi air cleaner to work you will need to trim the carbs to get the hood to close

  11. The race hemi is no different in size than the regular 426. In a pinch swap the oil pan off your 440 and see how that fits. I just don't think you have the distributor in quite the right place
  12. Looks great. Did you test fit your engine with the wired distributor? I doubt the hood will shut with it sticking up that high
  13. Thanks. The color is Tamiya ts-19 I believe. I was reluctant to build this car but once I got into it I was pleased. The shaving of the wheel wells changed the whole look. Next one will be a full option car in plum crazy or orange with white interior on purple or maybe the orange with orange interior
  14. Believe it or not the wheels are from the old amt corvette gasser. You know that terrible flip front one? Good thing I have lots of them I bought on clearance. Lol
  15. Nobody seems to like this build so next update will be under glass
  16. Looks great. I am partial to ingot silver Shelby's though... : )
  17. I get it. Ford built 3 R models. My favorite is the 95R. Here is how I see it. I myself buy the svt products and have not had a gt since 95. Lots of people say " I could just throw parts at a gt and have a faster car". I like the value in the special models. I don't care what you do to your GT, at the end of the day it's just a GT...
  18. Few odds and ends to tie up in here. It's kind of cramped in there. Lol
  19. Simple interior. Built the cage. Rest is pretty basic stuff. Photo etch window cranks, flocked
  20. Not sure on stance yet. May try and drop it a little more. Thoughts?
  21. You have it made brother!! A lady that shares hobbies is great! Wish I had done that... Wether it's a kit or a new set of drag radials for the 1:1 or whatever, all I hear is " do you really need that?" Lol
  22. Sweet. You can see what the orange looks like on my 69 super bee build. It's too orange for what you want I think. I have another color in that like called flaming orange. It's more what you need.
  23. Gotcha. Thanks Harry. Is it possible to eliminate older photos I have put here then? I will give the bucket another try
  24. Because I have to jump back and fourth. What is the purpose of the uploader then? Which I had been using trouble free for ages
