  1. Got some chassis work finished. Through the floor subframe connectors and driveshaft loop. It's coming along now. I also switched up the rims again
  2. Race hemi engines had chrome smooth valve covers
  3. All I ask is that the engine bay is blacked out like factory. Fords look funny without that. And it will work with my engine better...
  4. The mopar front end is. ( was) a very popular swap on these trucks for those who wanted to ditch the straight axle
  5. Very nice. Don't put a rear spoiler on it please...
  6. I would not install wheels until all suspension is installed on painted chassis to make sure it's all square etc. they MUST however be installed before the chassis is mated to the body! You will never get them on after. Once we know who is prepping the chassis for paint I have some tips to gain a better rear valence fit. Also do not install exhaust tips until final car assembly
  7. Right on the mark Casey. At this point Carlos should assemble the rear end halves. Paint that and the rear springs and shocks. Paint the front suspension assembly ( I already painted the spindles) paint steering components and detail the exhaust. As for exhaust, it only mounts solid at the mufflers with posts on mufflers and holes which I opened on the chassis pan. The tailpipes will take a dab of glue in a notch on either side of fuel tank. I modified these to get tailpipes up where they should be. At the front I think I will have to use the manifolds and not the headers due to clearance that's why I never cut the exhaust. What I will do there is fit and make locating pins for both set ups and whoever installs the engine can double check clearance and install either setup and trim the exhaust accordingly.
  8. Indeed
  9. Not true, without pics I only believe you have been eating Cheetos and watching macguyver reruns.... Lol Can't wait to see it
  10. Nice! I was asking as I have not seen anything like that since October and not likely to until April lol. Lucky bugger
  11. Yes. With new and improved piston slap and valve train issues.... Lol.
  12. I can only imagine the noise you made when you flipped out. My work area is in my basement and my last freak out my wife came down to see what all the commotion was about ! She shook her head and walked away as I was picking up the pieces lol
  13. I have been there brother! I think you should just jump right in to the detailed build of this sweet ride...
  14. I am doing a fairly modified one of these. It's about my 5th one. There is a tiny chassis mod that makes the rad support and chassis fit better. I will show you
  15. Awesome. May I ask what that wood stuff is the car is sitting on?
  16. The mcg photo etch set for the smaller camaro has the RS grille doors. They are not hollow though
  17. Great job Mike.
  18. Very nice. I hope mine finishes out this well. For an old kit it is one of my favorites
  19. I love the superchargers. They are top notch and with a bit of research and building an accurate bracket they really pop.
  20. Ok guys so work held me up a bit but it's on it's way to Carlos. I am now starting the engine which will be sent later. Here are some pics of it sitting on the suspension. Pic of it in the box and lastly the tracking number that everyone can check if they like. Just go to www.canadapost.ca and enter that number where it tells you to track a package.
  21. Exact ally!! He figures his 60 k car is still worth 60 k. It's not. I have full replacement for 3 yrs on my shelby. Which is the exact number taxes in on my paperwork. Car gets totalled I get car paid off and my equity back so I am out nothing.
