Those are nice brakes. I kind of cheated a bit when I used the magnums from the cornet kit. The wheel backs are solid and painted. You can't see the brakes anyway. Chassis is done and car is ready to be sent out minus engine. It is on the bench next. Someone pm me where to send it please. Pics to follow of what I did and how to assemble it.

Well, it would be a pretty big build to do it right. Front bumper, hood, rear spoiler, rims, exhaust, recaro seats, then there is the 4 valve 5.4 with its special intake and the t56. It's almost transkit territory. I would build one. I have had a ride in all 3 cobra R s. They are fun cars

We have been battling wind chills here between -35 to -50 for two weeks now. Supposed to be -38 c tonight without any windchill added in. I didn't even go outside. Today lol. Only about 90 more days till I can get the cars out

I agree with the above. I mold in stuff all the time with superglue and sanding

I saw a great gen 1 in Montana this past summer. Full gen 2 running gear swap. Along with the seats and wheels. It was a pretty nice sleeper

You bet. I have to get some pics up but the suspension is set up. I narrowed the rear end a smidge, totally modified the front spindles and re arched the rear leafs. It all fits together like it's supposed to.

Those wheels are gross. I have a couple old versions of this kit. Time to build another but I may have to look into some different wheels unless I build a stock one

That looks really good! I know what you mean about finding 1:1 grille parts. Almost a deal breaker on my 68

Could you not bash the Enzo with the FXX transkit that is out there ? Costly but do able

Nice project and nice cars. Around 96 I had a 68 383/4 speed S notchback. Should have kept it. It had been a drag car all it's life. 4 k miles on a perfect rust free body. Springs moved inboard so it had lots of tire under it. I got it as a roller and installed a decent 383/727 combo. Had 488 gears. Fun car.

Buckets and lenses all the way. I have a pile of kits I just keep passing over due to the fact I know there is extra work in that dept. Lol

How do you do the welds on the headers?

I have not started it yet. I wanted to get the chassis set up then I will begin that. That's how I planned it in my wee mind anyway. Then it will be ready about the time it is needed

Those look good. Most of the time on a mustang like this they come out there on turbo cars because the turbos are right there. This will work fine though
