Very nice. I'm not much of a aircraft guy, but that is a good looking model. -
Another Pocher Mercedes building. Cabrio Special.

I'm impressed. Any model can be a challenge for someone who has been away from the hobby for a while, but a Pocher kit seems rather ambitious for a first project. You are doing well. Keep up the good work, and please keep us posted. -
Yes it is, it's my castle, and i'll do as i please. Just as soon as she tells me what that is. Actually she's ok with my hobby, but I've got to admit, the only place my stuff fits in with the rest of the decor is my man cave. And I'm ok with that.

The problem is that there are fewer people today that have respect for life. Police are needed because there are so many in society that do not respect the lives and property of others. Its too bad that there are people who would champion the cause of one group of people, at the expense of another. Anyone who thinks that trumpeting that the cause of any group, doesn't minimize all others is kidding himself. No officer, or his family, should have to worry about wheather or not they will make it home at night. This is a diturbing trend. On a lighter note, I think Capt. Clay Higgins from the Laundry Township, is an officer that deserves our respect, because he cares about his job and the people in his community, and he's entertaing to watch.

Time to shop online.....?

I am amazed at your ability to adjust the build and scratchbuild any missing parts and get so much done so quickly. And you do such a clean job. I always find your builds a joy to follow, and are educational as well. As always thanks for sharing.

I keep mine in a file cabinet in my model room, walked past the door one day to hear a hissing noise. One of these can had started spraying around the base of the noozle, made a helluva mess. I've gotten ride of some of the older paint, trying to minimize the risk. -
Nice build. I had one of these when me and the Mrs was first married. Then we started having kids, had to trade her (the car, not the Mrs) in on something more practical. Sure do miss that car..... anyway, you did a fine job, one to be proud of, love the color, and the wheels.

Looks just like the one my mom had. Sure is purdy.

I like this alot. Very creative. I know you're trying to keep to a Cobra theme, but I think (just my narrow-minded, pin-headed opinion) that the vette tail lights would have been cool. Not that there is anything wrong with yours. A pic of the front would be nice. Thanks for sharing.

When i got this kit i thought it screamed for an orange paint job, which does'nt work on every car. I think it works on this one. Its Krylon Pumpkin orange. I've had mixed results using Krylon paint, this is the best I've had so far.

They are from an unknown kit. I started this model so long ago, I can't remember.

Barracuda....Back from the dead
uncle potts replied to SfanGoch's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I agree that mot of whats out there today isn't worth looking at, and many of the "retro look" designs fall short of true design. But if they are going to stick a classic name such as the Barracuda on a "retro" design, at least base it on the '68-'69 models. What they plan on doing is just one more ugly glob they say is based on a clssic design. I've personally had enough of it. -
Thats really unique, and kinda cool.

Oddsome. Very inventive idea.

uncle potts replied to Exotics_Builder's topic in WIP: Model Cars
That is really purdy... can't wait for more. -
Awsome plate... saw one of these, a '68 barracuda, in here in town yesterday. A pretty light green one, I prefer blue, but it was still a sweet looking ride.
