  1. Every one of our bodies and especially your vision is different. I was blessed with 20/20 vision from birth and distances as well as close, model building, was never a problem for me until about 40 years of age. I admit to taking it all for granted since I had never experienced any challenges like so many of my friends. In my case some of the changes for myself were related to my extensive time looking at computer screens having to do with my work. I'm sure age was a good part of the issue as well. The Optometrists that I have been treated by since have all been excellent and would explain everything they were seeing with my issues and even would go over the x-rays of my eyes and would explain everything that they were concerned about. Did you know you can have a freckle on you eyeball? A couple of years ago during my annual exams it was pointed out that I was at a point where the prescription for reading and up-close work was no longer going to be effective, and I was needing Cataract surgery. The lenses that are available today with Cataract surgery are mazing. Your options, if at this point, are best discussed with the surgeon. The pain was all but nonexistent and with only a few daily eye drops, something I have an issue with, but I survived. Your vision, especially as we age, is something that requires monitoring as closely as any other aspect of our lives.
  2. Something to consider if you decide to repair the window moldings on the opening. In the past while changing the rear window moldings on a Suburban build, I used some Plastruct strips of the same size to fill the gaps and even completely replace the kits moldings. This would also offer you an opportunity to change the moldings in any way that may look better to you.
  3. The "glass" for the rear doors can easily be replaced with almost any clear plastic you can find or buy.
  4. Interesting looking grill & headlight setup. Just an idea, I have found that the grills from any of the different model companies offering models of trucks from this era will interchange.
  5. The price might be right, but your sight is nothing to take a short cut on. I have found a good Optometrist will have far better equipment and the ability to know how to do the required testing to give you the best outcome for your sight needs. They will be checking far more than what lenses prescription is needed to correct any vision issues.
  6. Great looking paint color and finish. The chrome trim looks good. Like the engine detailing.
  7. Great looking engine and chassis.
  8. Don't take this wrong, this is a cool looking street rod. The colors made me think of the old Checker Cab colors that used to roam the streets of Chicago and New York.
  9. Good looking color. The side view of the body looks nice and smooth.
  10. Great looking combo. The van hood issue isn't a big deal since you wouldn't be able to see much of the engine anyway. Having owned a short wheelbase G20 van years ago this is the way they sat with the heavier duty suspension. Like the way the boat turned out. I wish we had more boat kits like this to tow behind our truck builds.
  11. Great looking color and finish. Like the wheels. The black trim all looks good.
  12. Nice looking little convertible. What color paint did you use?
  13. Great looking paint color and finish. The stripes and Demon trim look good. Don't you wish you could buy something like this today at a price comparable to its market price at that time?
  14. Beautifully done scale model. Your attention to the smallest little details makes looking at this a real treat.
  15. All of the extra body work you did really payed off with the overall look. Great looking smooth paint finish.
  16. The molding in of the front bumper and grill surround gives the front end a smoother look.
  17. Should look great in the bright red color. Always liked the look of the Mercury Comet GT compared to the Ford Fairlane GT body style.
  18. Great looking rust bucket. Realistic looking road rash and tin worm damage. Maybe he should let the dealership body shop play with it for a while. Alway enjoy looking at your weathering.
  19. Beautiful looking paint color and finish. The body and the bed turned out great.
  20. Great paint finish and the chrome trim is all cleanly done. Those wheels look perfect on this.
  21. Like the drag car theme and paint work on the Valiant. The Edsel has a nice cruiser vibe.
  22. Beautiful looking paint and interior finishes. The engine detailing looks great. Like the slightly oversized tire and wheel combination.
  23. Great looking finishes and the color combination shows the body lines well.
  24. Great looking GT350. Like the paint and decal finishes.
  25. Great looking Mustang. The paint color and finish look very realistic. Like the engine and body trim detailing.
