  1. A lot of great information in addition to many personal experiences. To share an experience when I was very young, my father took me to the Chicago Auto Show for all the new cars for the year 1953. First off, I can't recall why my father who wasn't much of a car guy thinking of them more as an appliance than anything else would have wanted to go there in the first place. We were a "Ford family" having gotten one of the first 1949 Fords when they came out. He got me a metal promo of a 1953 Ford with a bank built into the bottom. The promo was approximately 1/24th scale and was one of my prized possessions as a child.
  2. You just can't fix stupid. To many people don't even know how to properly drive an automobile let alone try and figure out what may or may not be wrong. Perhaps they should take up brain surgery as a new hobby.
  3. Really like the way you changed the front grill area on the body. Looks like something Pontiac would have done. The paint color is a real attention getter. Like how the Boat is done to match.
  4. Beautiful looking paint finish and the color is a personal favorite for the '56 & '57 Chevys. Cleanly done body trim and the interior looks very OEM.
  5. Beautiful looking paint finish and color. Well worth the due over. Cleanly detailed engine and chassis. Great stans.
  6. Like the body paint details.
  7. Great looking Mustangs. The Capri had a different rear window/hatch that I think looked more interesting than the Mustangs, but it is only my opinion.
  8. As Brian mentioned the metal axels can be a pain to work around when altering the suspension. I would suggest not using the metal axels at all. Depending on the wheels that you are using find a material of the proper diameter to fit into the wheel backs. In the past I have found that using everything from shortened kit's metal axels to using small metal brads that you can buy at Home Depot. There are other sources of course and these are just two maybes.
  9. Amazing engine and under hood detailing.
  10. Great looking used and abused finish.
  11. Like the sinister look.
  12. Great looking paint. Like the painted wheels and the stance.
  13. Great looking paint color and finish. Cleanly detailed body trim' Like the stance and the day 2 look.
  14. Great looking plastic surgery. I have built the Belveder I kit and like it a lot. Your body changes look seamless.
  15. In addition to the other suggestions, I have used it for tinting windows, but remember in this case less is more as it can get dark easily.
  16. That may leave a mark on your frontend, set off air bags, and cause stained upholstery.
  17. Beautiful looking finishes. Lot of intricate detailing.
  18. Great looking paint work and the color looks very OEM. Like the wheel & tire combo along with the stance.
  19. Great looking color and smooth paint finish. You seem to have slaid the grill issues with this kit.
  20. Beautiful looking paint work and body trim.
  21. Both beautiful looking builds.
  22. The most highly detailed Mustang build I can remember seeing. Besides the lighting systems, the interior and trunk finish are all very realistic looking. The paint finish looks great, and I like the factory style accent pin striping.
  23. Great looking paint finish and the color looks good for this body style. The chrome body trim all looks nice and cleanly done.
  24. Like the paint color and finish.
  25. Good kit to get your feet wet again. What color are you using?
