  1. You can also give the area a light dust coat of clear or semi-clear paint. This will seal the decal and also give you a more natural looking finish to that area.
  2. I have done a few trades, but not always that pleased. I don't mind trading to help someone out, but by the time you pay for postage and the returned parts or kit not always what you are expecting, it just doesn't seem to make sense. By this I mean the kit could often be bought off the shelf at HL and the box and contents are intact.
  3. Great looking stock appearance. The engine plate looks very nice the way you detailed it.
  4. Beautiful looking paint work and I like the clean looking trim.

Thank you Anders I'm glad you liked it.
  6. Looks great, I like the realistic looking finishes. Don't often see these built as a convertible. Clean looking interior.
  7. Great color and finish. Clean looking body detailing.
  8. Beautiful looking paint finish and color. Don't see the Edsel grill as often as you used to. Like the detailing and exhaust on the Buick engine.

The paint looks great, and the trim is all cleanly done.

Great looking build, the soft color with the tail stripe looks good. The engine compartment looks clean.
  11. Some nice old reissue models. The reissue of the '49 Ford coupe has always been a favorite with me, but I have to wonder way they haven't done the '50 Ford convertible kit that offered even more custom parts. I think there would be just as much interest in the '50 as the '49. The '56 Victoria is a welcome addition and offers a lot of build options.
  12. Great looking color. What paint did you use ? The build and the others as well all look well done and I like the different themes on each. The old AMT '58 Impala was a very impressive kit.
  13. Beautiful and realistic appearing build. They didn't offer the wood trim in '65 but looking at this you have to wonder why they didn't.
  14. Looks like this should be the box art. Great finishes. Can't help thinking about Indiana Jones trying to jump the driver in one of his adventures.
  15. Beautiful looking design along with the paint and interior. The engine, as big as it is, looks like it belongs here. Everything looks to be in proportion.
  16. You have a lot of good-looking leftover parts.
  17. Impressive front suspension and the details of the engine look great.
  18. That shade of blue shows all the nice factory body lines.
  19. I like the Arden Head conversion and the rear end.
  20. I look forward to seeing any and all of the pictures you have of the cars from this era. I remember as a young child in the '50's writing GM in Detroit and asking for pictures of their show cars that traveled around the country to all the new car shows. They always would send me some really great looking black & white publicity photos that would usually 8 by 10s. I wish I would have been able to save them, but life sort of got in the way.
  21. Great clean looking build. I like that you built a model to look just like the ones in the picture.
  22. I like the finishes on the paint and the treasures in the bed. The duel rear wheels look natural here. The tow boom is nicely detailed.
  23. I like the smooth monochrome look and the camper shell with no windows.
  24. I like the unusual paint finish and the inside of the bed.
