  1. Very impressive interior. The fender flairs complement the body lines without making them the focal point.
  2. Beautiful engine display. You should be complemented on your efforts in the accuracy of the engine builds.
  3. Great looking build. I like the way you detailed the hub caps, just like the 1:1.
  4. Looks like a fun build.
  5. Great looking build. I like the bucket seat idea and the Rally wheels look perfect.
  6. Nice looking convertible. Was the canvass top on your fathers car maroon ? Those were great cars, I had a '51 tudoor that served me well and I drove it like I stole it.

    1956 Thunderbird

Great looking "Baby Bird". The black body color really shows the body lines.
  8. Congratulations on the well deserved first place. The Camaro and the Willies also look nice.
  9. I'll enjoy following your build. I bought this same body a few years ago and just haven't found the time to build it. I like the way you used parts from different engines to make the Pontiac engine.
  10. Rust-Oleum Textured paint comes in black or white that I know of but other colors may be available. It dries to a fine textured finish that may look very close. I have also used it for vinyl roofs.
  11. The tires in the mock-up seem a bit oversized in relation to the body. As shown on the red Bronco above, the add on fiberglass flares that were so popular back then still look the best. Maybe with a slightly smaller diameter tires and a mild lift it might look better, but then that is up to the builder.
  12. Unbelievably real looking. Outstanding detail on the interior, engine and chassis.
  13. I like the concept, just how high are you going with this ?
  14. Great looking build. The color and finish really stand out. Just the right "rake" on the ride height.
  15. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" I don't know who first said it but that pretty much describes this car. I agree with Bill on the front end, should have staid closer to the original design. Wheels are a very personal thing, and I would have done something different. I truly do like the overall look and especially the interior. Since it is built by the Ring Brothers you just know this thing is made to be driven. One thing about Customizing a car is that you end up narrowing the number of people that share your vision.
  16. Interesting subject and great paint. Like many others I remember when Ford had a big sales push on Pintos. They did a great job with their paint and stripe packages to draw attention to their products.
  17. I got some real nice resin parts from Replicas & Miniatures a while ago. Their part # SRD-1103 is a very nice Chevrolet 3 deuce intake. They also have part # P-123 "Hedman" type headers, great block hugger style. Just a thought if you're still going for the tri-power setup.
  18. Great looking build. I'm in the Torque Thrust camp but the early MoPars were just as often seen with chrome Cragers. In '62 if this was one of the 413's with a Torquflite you had better have it pointed in the right direction when you dropped the hammer on it.
  19. Check the paint department at any of the big home improvement stores. They often have new spray nozzles in both spray styles. Buy the nozzles you like and just switch it out with what ever came on the spray can you are using. Also a good way to replace any old nozzles that are no longer working as they should.
  20. While risky, you might try enlarging the top of the opening and then glue in some L shaped plastic to form a new window channel. Plastruct also offer a T shape in several different sizes. I have been able to create different window channels in this manor.
  21. Great looking build. The body proportions don't look that far off. Maybe if you had a 1:1 to measure against it may be different.
  22. Beautiful build. You should send a picture of it to Richard, I'm sure he would enjoy it also.
  23. What a great color, it really looks perfect on those body lines. Chevrolet offered the same thing on the Impalas called Evening Orchid, not sure about Olds or Buick. Not sure about what the air cleaners look like but you might even try Bare Metal Foil.
  24. All of them are great builds. It is hard to believe that you could put that sedan together in just 11 days. The paint is as shinny as I have seen in a long time.
  25. Looks very nice. I remember seeing tu-tone paint jobs like that years ago. Good idea on the window moldings.
