    5 Day Rebuild

    Nice save.
  3. Pretty sweet.
  4. Very pleased to see this car get its due recognition, and the color couldn't be more perfect for it. I'm with Bill, as usual...I hope we see the kit co's finally pick up on the true direction of things and give us more to work with along these lines.
  5. Yes, it's now under the Pledge label. "Pledge Floor Care - Tile and Vinyl Floor Finish with Future Shine" is the one you're looking for, specifically. Yeah, took me a minute to figure out which one it was, too.
  6. Now THAT is RAD. Those are two ponies from the stable that should have mated long, long ago. Well done, sir...well done.
  7. TĂșlio...just...wow! What a beauty!
  8. That's a rad little collection, Tom. They're all cool in their own way, but that pink one makes me think of the Dream Rod. I've been rolling ideas around in my head based on an Elkie that I'll now have to consider for the Ranch. Thanks for posting these.
  9. That's a beaut, Cruz! Old cars didn't have great panel alignment right out of the factory. I wouldn't stress on it a bit with one that looks that nice overall.
  10. Cool quickie. I've been having similar thoughts about that kit lately.
  11. Ah, finally, some good tree pics! Thanks! I don't think we could really have expected a full new tool on this, as some had hoped for, but I will have no trouble at all overlooking a little rehash to get the new rolling stock and other new goodies.
  12. Thanks for the catch, Bill. I knew I missed a word in there somewhere (spring *perch*) but when I went to edit, it eluded me. And yep, Bill's also right about making sure you use that search function before asking questions. The board moves ridiculously fast, so if it's already on there to find (which it probably is) you'll likely just get tossed around a bit. It's a great community, though, and once you're on there a while you pick up on the ones you can hit up for modeler-specific intel. But whatever ya do...don't say rat rod.
  13. Here's a suicide front end. It gets it's name from the fact that if the spring breaks the chassis is almost guaranteed to hit the ground, since there's pretty much nothing of substance between the axle and the frame except for the spring. Underslung just means that the frame is under the suspension rather than over - like on this slick lil' bucket (scrubline violation warning ). But honestly, if you're interested in building hot rod models the best advise I can give you? The H.A.M.B. Nothin' better online for pre '65 hot rods and customs.
  14. That's Korkut's '64 Chevy wagon. Fantastic builder...very creative. http://www.korkutvarol.com
  15. Oh man...he's flekkin' great.
  16. Very cool truck. Excellent work.
  17. That's some excellent work right there. Do you have any in-progress shots? WIP shots are like crack to some of us around here.
  18. The AMT '62 Chevy convertible has the best accessorized 409 in kit form, in my opinion. It's the Offy finned valve covers that make it tops, which are absent from the other '62 kits. They're simply killer, and capture the "look" much better than any of the others available. Still, this is looking great. Look forward to seeing more.
  19. Cool 'Stang.
  20. Best looking Agin I've seen yet. Well done.
  21. Very nice Ford, and a great garage.
  22. Nice clean build, great colors. What's not to like? Oh, and thanks, Harry...now I know what color I will paint virtually every model I build from here out.
