  1. That's the one ! Thanks Bill ! I also have this one but my memory is really bad ! I bought it last summer on ebay . The decals are Special Appearance Decals .

That's awesome ! Very cool idea , good luck at NNL East !
  3. Beautiful Grabber Blue ! Great looking Boss 302 .
  4. Another impressive build Harry ! Actually it looks like it would be kind of fun to try one , one of these days , maybe .
  5. Anne , you did you order paint from ? I've ordered paint from most of the online hobby shops and always have it in my hand in less than a week . Lately I just shop price and if it is in stock .
  6. I bought this resin body on ebay a couple of months ago . I don't remember the name but if you search resin bodies you will see it . The vendor was " msmiteymouse " . No listings right now but they do have it .
  7. Beautiful Dart ! Very nicely done and a great color .
  8. A couple of days or even a week I can understand , but it's been more than a month !
  9. Maybe one of you can help out and ask the DragMaster to let me in ! ! !
  10. Nice looking Olds Jim ! Looks good painted that color and the wheels are perfect . I hated that body style when they came out in '73 , now I think they look pretty sharp ! Must be an age thing .
  11. That's pretty cool , and it looks pretty good too ! I've got several "survivors" from way back when , some in good shape but most have seen better days . Maybe there should be a topic started so we all can show our "survivors" !
  12. Thanks Jason , Chris , and Jeff ! I'm glad everybody likes it .
  13. It's a matter of personal taste , but I finish with a light spray of Dull-Cote . It knocks the shine off of the vinyl and makes the sticker and tire look more realistic .
  14. Try www.vinylnationdecals.com for Redlines , Bluelines , Gold and white wall stickers . Great prices and they are a thousand times easier than waterslide decals .
  15. Do any of you know anything about this forum ? I registered on March 15th but still can't access the site , it says my account has to be activated by an admin . The forum appears to be active as it shows todays date .
  16. Oooo that's nice ! Marina Blue is the perfect color and the detailing is great ! I really like the interior details , and the top stowed below the lid . I'm gonna have to build another one of these !
  17. Great looking build , I really like how you did the exhaust !
  18. Thank you guys ! They are fun to build but not for everyone . Some modelers call them "Toys" , but there are an awful lot of people that call all models "Toys" !
  19. I think I know this one . By the way . . . I love your new avatar , It's a keeper !
  20. This is a little goodie I built for the Car-Toons Model Forum . A quick weekend build that took 3 weeks to finish ! It's a detailed Tom Daniel Thunder Bug using bits from both the Revell and Tamiya kits plus a few scratchbuilt pieces . The last photo is the custom version sitting next to my original '71 Thunder Bug . Thanks for looking ! A special thanks to MAGNUM4342 for supplying the bumpers !
  21. Great looking build Nick ! Simple doesn't make it any less beautiful . Nice job .
  22. Great story Bill ! I know from experience that it was one of your proudest moments ever ! She did a great job too , and it sounds like she'll be building a few more . Enjoy it while you can , she'll be a teenager soon and one day boys will be more important than models . But years from now you both will remember this !
  23. They have changed the name ( again ! ) to " Pledge Floor Care " .
  24. Good point ! I listed some old Nascar kits on ebay last year and couldn't sell them at 8 bucks each . I ended up trading them and everybody was happy !
  25. Like Casey has already said , not much profit if any in trying to sell those kits , so build 'em ! Even if they were a bit rare , build 'em ! Isn't that why you bought them ? As for the decals , never take a chance with older ones . Always coat them with a sealer of some kind , I use Testors Decal Bonder but a good clear will do the same thing . I also scan the decals before I do anything , just in case !
