  1. I thought about it once . Comparing the Street Fighter to a Revell '60 Chevy , The Street Fighter is alot bigger !
  2. It turned out gorgeous ! ! The detail is amazing for 1/87th scale . Are they still in business ?
  3. Really nice looking Meteor ! Restoring an older kit like that can be a pain , but you pulled it off . I'm wondering if your post will stay here or get moved to the truck section .
  4. Looking really good ! I've never built this kit but now it is on my "Buy" list . Are the wheels and tires in this kit ? And the wide whites ? They look great ! I always Dull-Cote the sidewalls of my tires , especially the whitewalls ( they are to shiney otherwise ) . A couple really light coats is all it takes , and I've never had any reaction with the decals .
  5. That looks pretty sharp ! I've got that kit and a couple others molded in clear plastic , and have always thought it would be neat to do a half and half car . I built a clear 1/4 Hemi engine just to see if it would work . Keep us updated !
  6. I agree with everything that's been said . Absolutely Beautiful ! !
  7. This is by far the easiest way , especially for those tiny photo etched parts . I keep a couple prepped toothpicks handy all the time . As a bonus they stay tacky for a loooong time ! If you can't find the Aleenes glue , Micro-Mark sells the same thing called " Detail Tack " .
  8. I was thinking it was 1/32 scale . With the ruler I'd say it's H.O. scale ( 1/87 , 1/72, or 1/64 ? ) . What's the scale and who makes it ?
  9. Very , very nice ! ! I've never been impressed by the R-M chopper kits , but you've changed my mind . Yours is super clean .
  10. Looks very good to me ! Even the tires match the rest of the car . I'm glad you didn't go overboard on the weathering , sometimes that ruins the model .
  11. I'm not positive , but besides the taillight panel and lens , the wheel arches are completely different and so is the hood . It's not out of the question to modify the Talladega , more a matter of what you are comfortable doing . Personally , getting the taillights and the decals would seal the deal for me !
  12. Time Machine Resins makes a really nice kit that uses the Revell Talladega kit as a donor . It saves alot of work and is worth the $45 selling price .
  13. The satin finish is awesome !
  14. CA stands for Cyanoacrylate , which is the fancy name for Super Glue .
  15. Oh Yeah ! This is gonna be good !
  16. Lookin good so far ! I really like the silver and black on the engine .
  17. That body looks excellent . The Gulf paint scheme is the best looking of all the GT-40's . Can't wait to see this one finished .
  18. I definetly like it ! Dune buggies are like a blank canvas , you can do anything you want , no rules ! We need a seperate topic just to show all the different buggies that have been built . Maybe a CBP ?
  19. I like all your old builds ! So just one post , here , to say they all look great !
  20. I love it ! ! Best of road dune buggy yet !
  21. I love wagons and yours is super ! I like the daily driver look better than being all rusted to death . Did you spray Dull - Cote over the paint , and how did you make the front bumper look slightly rusted ? I want to try something like this soon .
  22. Another nice build Corey ! The rear panel between the taillights is a nice touch .
  23. That's really cool ! The custom touches are very subtle and look great ! The satin finish really makes it stand out .
  24. Great looking interior . The seats look Real . How did you do that ?
  25. Yep , I remember Henry Borger . He's another Hall of Famer .
