  1. Really gorgeous builds ! Curbside or not , they deserve to be displayed . Please do some more !
  2. This turned out great ! Nice and clean OOB build .
  3. Thanks Michael . I've owned six El Caminos but have always wanted one of these . I should have some paint on it this week !
  4. Looks really nice ! The green is the perfect color for a Manx . Glad to see more of these showing up , they kind of disappeared for a while ! There was a really good thread in the "Kit Review" section a few months ago .
  5. You need to find brass pipe fittings made by Weatherhead to go from 1/8 NPT to 1/4 NPT . Do a search or try McMaster Carr or Amazon Hose . Also , anyplace that makes hoses in your area should have them .
  6. Thanks Andy . I had a set of ET's on an ElCamino many years ago and have always liked the look . BOB .

    55 NOMAD

Really good looking Nomad ! I like the extras you added , like the open vent windows and the sliding windows in back .
  8. Great project . Really nice work on the grille .
  9. Here I used a piece of balsa wood and some pins to locate the rear axle housing and make the suspension pieces . Here's the finished rear axle assembly . These wheels are from my parts box . I'm thinking about painting the spokes a flat gray like the old ET mags . And the tires from the parts box . I'm going to start prepping the body next , so hopefully next week I'll have some pretty pictures to post . Thanks for looking ! BOB .
  10. Here the air filter housing is installed .
  11. I've made a little progress in the last week or so . Mainly , the engine is finished . Also have the rear suspension pieces finished but not installed yet . Here are photos of the engine .
  12. Very Nice ! I agree that it looks good because it isn't over done . The ticket under the wiper is a nice touch !
  13. You're moving right along on this and your work looks great ! To temporarily assemble parts I use a glue from Micro-Mark called Detail Tack . It's a white glue that when it dries leaves a very sticky surface . Parts can be assembled and taken apart as many times as you want ! Just put a small dab on one piece and it will stick to anything . I even use it on toothpicks to handle small parts , it's easier than tweezers .
  14. Those wood decals are amazing ! Definetly have to try them . Nice looking woody too !
  15. Don't wait ! If the seller is not willing to solve any issue you have , then go to the Resolution Center on ebay and open a case . I buy and sell regularly on Ebay , and the only reason a seller won't cooperate is if he knowingly listed or sold an item that was not as described . This is very rare , but there are always bad apples . I've never had any problems with sellers so I can't say how long the process will take . I have had several problems with buyers and it usually takes 7 to14 days .
  16. Really nice colors , and a vinyl top too ! Looks great !
  17. Very nice Duster !
  18. Looks really good for an old body ! That does look like a factory color and the Cragars look perfect on it !
  19. Beautiful Oldsmobiles !
  20. Looks really good ! Nice color , and I like the air intakes on the engine . I knew those drinking straws were good for something !
  21. Looking Good ! Beautiful red paint and engine detailing .
  22. Excellent fabricating of a historic race car !
  23. According to the post , that El Camino has " air bags in the coils and an extra pair of shocks " . It still looks like it is dragging the rear bumper . . . No Thanks .
  24. Absolutely Drop - Dead Insanely Gorgeous ! ! ! I watched your build-up and was amazed by your imagination while doing this . Got to be one of the Best of all time models ! BOB .
