  1. That's pretty sad . You don't know what you are missing .
  2. I've been looking at getting one of these kits even tho' they are out of my normal price range . I'm a bit confused because I keep finding more than one part number for the A6M5 Zero . Which one are you building ?
  3. That is so cool ! Great paint and trim work , and the decals really look perfect on this one . I'm lovin' all these wagons !
  4. Another beauty added to your collection ! I'm always blown away by how clean your builds are , and the paint is always perfect ! This kit lacks alot compared to others , but it has always been one of my favorites . Thanks for showing it . BOB .
  5. That's a very nice Chevelle wagon . Trimming the decals like you did is not easy , great work . I'm also a big wagon fan and really like what you have done with this one . Looking forward to seeing more of your work . Welcome to the forum . BOB .
  6. Much easier ! Good job Harry .
  7. Bill , I just finished reading the posts and see that Jerry won't be making it to the show . I hope he is doing well . In any case , do post some photos of the show . BOB .
  8. Absolutely beautiful Bill ! I'm not going to repeat what has already been said , I just want to ask you a favor . If Jerry shows up at the show "PLEASE" post some photos of the two of you with the model ( and your trophy ) ! BOB .
  9. Chris , Your body work looks great , but how about telling us what you used .
  10. Oh Yeah ! The front is perfect ! You're doing a great job on this one .
  11. Thanks for the Thumbs Up from everyone ! I was surprised to see this post back in circulation , I thought it was long gone . By the way , alot of the lettering and other details were done using lettering pens designed for drafting , along with black ink . I've seen them at Michaels . It's a lot easier than trying to paint them with a brush ! BOB .
  12. Very cool looking ! I'll be watching .
  13. Is there a kit currently available that has a stock rear suspension setup using upper and lower trailing arms with coil springs ? All I can find are leaf spring rears and 4 - link / coilover suspensions . I'm working on a '72 Ranchero and want to make it close to the 1:1 so everyone doesn't comment that it is wrong ! If I have to I can build my own since most of the chassis is going to be scratch built anyway . Thanks .
  14. I just started a project using the 351C from the Revell '70 Mach I . Very detailed kit . Below are a couple photos of the carb in this kit . It is a two piece carb , consisting of a bottom plate with throttle shaft and arm , and a top piece with the bowl detail . It's very hard to get a decent photo of it , but it looks pretty decent . This just shows that it can be done if they wanted to !
  15. Excellent ! ! I watched the build for the Contest . Good Luck !
  16. I think Greg was asking what kit you used . It looks like a resin body and you added the wing to it ? What scale is it ?
  17. Hey John , Great project ! What you've done so far looks good . And don't worry about using rattle cans , alot of us still use them !
  18. I have to agree with Harry . While it would be nice to have all the info on a disc , I wouldn't buy it if anyone offerred it , and certainly don't want to pay extra for a kit just to have it included . Any info I need is just a few clicks away . And if I can't find something I'm sure someone on this forum would be able to help .
  19. Whoa ! That is gorgeous ! Your detailing is perfect . BOB .
  20. You're off to a great start Mike . That looks really good ! You will learn tons of stuff here , just take your time and be patient . I also like that color .
  21. Boy , that's pretty ! JoHan definetly got that body right !
  22. Yes ! Love that Green ! Very clean looking build .
  23. Very nice build . The Lola T-70 was one of the best looking cars in the series .
  24. Looks really good Billy ! With some more practice you will be a pro at this !
  25. Hobby Linc and Mega Hobby are the ones I usually use for brass tubing , styrene tubing , and for paint . They both have a great selection and fast shipping . Also it is worth getting a Plastruct catalog . They have alot of tubing and styrene sheets . Most of it can be purchase by the piece instead of in packages , which is pretty convenient .
