  1. Hey Riley , It looks fine for a first try . Much better than I did when I was 14 . Looks like you have a talent for this kind of stuff ! Keep up the good work ! BOB .
  2. Nice wagon ! Love those wheels .
  3. Now that is COOL ! Love the paint , and the flames turned out great ! Do you remember who you bought the mask from ?
  4. Very , very , very nice . I love the paint and finish . Great job !
  5. Chuck , It turned out pretty cool ! Even people who think it is strange like it ! I like the gauges hanging under the dash . BOB .
  6. That's not a bad looking kit , and your results are excellent ! The paint looks perfect .
  7. Here's some more pictures . I had a Jimmy Flintstone body , but really didn't care for it , so I built my own . The roof was made using pieces from a second 300 kit and a Plymouth kit . Other than the hood , the only modification I made was to the front bumper . A little grinding got rid of the 5 mph look ! The engine from the Revell Hemi 'cuda fit nicely . Only a little mod to the upper control arms to make room for the exhaust . Also a little creative grinding to get the hood to close . The rest of the car is box stock except for a scratch built exhaust . I used the wheels and tires from the 'cuda . Also the steering wheel and pistol grip shifter . There are a couple of things I'd like to change but I think I'll wait a while . Any suggestions are welcome . Thanks for looking . BOB .
  8. Here's what I found this morning in my local Walgreens . A '29 Model A diecast for $5.99 ! It's 1/24 scale too !
  9. Finished it up this morning after almost two months . Build details are in "On the Workbench" . I'll post more photos when I get off work in the morning . Thanks for looking . BOB .
  10. Really nice paint ! It must really look sharp in person .
  11. Same here . I thought it was a factory built Demo by Tamiya ! Beautiful VW ! BOB .
  12. Dave, Turned out really sweet ! I'm also hooked on Wagons . I say hood pins on all 4 corners . It looks a little plain without them . BOB .
  13. Yeah , that's cool ! Those are neat little kits . Have you looked at the Cartoon Cars Contest ?
  14. I finished this morning and wanted to get a couple pictures posted . It took less than two months which is a record for me , I build slow ! Anyway , it's not perfect and I'd like to change a couple of things , but it's good for now . If you see anything that I could do , please tell me . I plan on reworking it in the future . As soon as I get some decent pictures I'll post it on " Under Glass " . Thanks. BOB .
  15. Like everyone else said , very nicely done ! One of the cleanest Cougars I've seen . Your detailing is just right .
  16. Not Bad . Actually it's Great ! The tires are a nice touch that is always overlooked ! Good Luck !
  17. I really like this idea . Just one question . . . where are you getting the Clay Smith decals ? I've looked every where with no luck .

Cool to see a build of Marty Robbins' Charger . It turned out really nice ! I met him at Daytona in '74 and got a bunch of pictures of his car . He really loved showing it to anyone who happenned by ! Great guy , but he was serious about his racin' ! !
  21. Yeah , this is going to look nice ! I like what you've done so far . I agree , the hood latch is great ! I've tried but never could make one that looked right . Thanks for the idea ! I built one of these kits a while back and the engine is really sharp looking . A little detailing and it will be great ! Keep posting . BOB .
