  1. That's Niiiiiiiiiice .
  2. That's a real beauty ! ! Wish I could find one . Can't help much with the tape marks . I had the same thing happen to me once and tried everything I could think of without damaging the paint with no luck . After a month or so I guess the glue had dried enough that it practically rubbed right off ! Somebody here must have a solution .
  3. This is going to be cool ! I love '30 Ford Phaetons . I've never seen that frame before , guess I need to hunt down a Smoothster !
  4. Nice projects you have there . Will we see more of them ?
  5. It's nice to see a Duster going together . The 'cudas and Challengers get a little old after awhile . Can't wait to see where you go with this one . The Bright Orange will look super !
  6. I agree . That's why I didn't mind cutting up the Nomad body . I'm currently doing a WIP in the " On the Workbench " section ( 1957 Chrysler Hemi Wagon ) . Thanks for the nice comments . BOB.
  7. I thought I read somewhere that a clearcoat over the BMF caused it to turn dark . Is this true ?
  8. The yellow paint is cool and the Flower power decals are perfect for this kit ! I like your detailing and the contrasting colors . You can clear a finished model by using Pledge Floor Care with Future Shine . Use a small foam brush ( 1 " ) and brush it lightly on the model . It is very thin and as it dries it evens out for a beautiful shine ! I've done this on two older builds and it really turns out nice . Give it a try . BOB.
  9. This is turning out awesome ! The differential is a nice touch ! BOB.
  10. Oh man . . .that is SWEET ! Beautiful color , and the engine detailing is simply amazing !! Looks like a 100 pt. build to me .
  11. Very Fine '69 ! Great looking build .
  12. Here's a few more pictures to show what I've gotten done lately ( not much ) . The suspension and brake lines are installed . I had to remove the torsion bars to test fit the engine . . . the headers wouldn't clear . I think they will fit after final assembly . I used the '57 mufflers and made custom exhaust using .094 Styrene tube . The tips are polished aluminum . I also painted the inside of the body and engine compartment satin black . The aluminumtips might be too long . What do you think ? Also have the carpeting done . The interior pieces are painted and waiting for some trim and BMF . Finally , I've painted the roof and hood with Krylon Almond . I can see it needs a little more body work around the B-pillar and drip rail . The roof will be trimed with BMF . The body will be painted with Testors One Shot Purple - Licious . I have a question for you guys . This is my first attempt at BMF , but I've practiced on an old body . Question is . . . do I spray the clear before or after I apply the BMF ? Thanks again . BOB.
  13. I just looked at this thread for the first time . . . WOW ! Incredible detail work . Definitely among the best .

  18. It looks much better with no T-tops . Very nice build ! The color is perfect and your detailing of the taillight lenses is great !
  19. That's a very cool build ! Was the original pace car that sort of color ? I thought they were always white .
  20. Great to see this " Under Glass " ! Congratulations on a super build ! BOB.
  21. I was just wondering today if you had made any progress . It looks great ! You did a nice job . Also , that's a nice collection you have there . With all the excitement about this kit , I'm surprised there aren't more being posted here ! I have two more , but they are down on the list of what I have planned . Keep building and posting your models . BOB.
  22. That's nice . I've got two in my stash . One will be an old farm truck like my Gramps had . They both will keep the 6-banger ! Thanks for posting .
  23. Wow ! Surprise is right ! Thanks for the video , it looks like a really well done kit . I have big plans for at least 2 of these ! BOB.
  24. Fabrizio , Sorry I missed this one when you posted it . It's really great ! I'm a wagon nut , and it really puts a smile on my face . I'm curious how you did the wood ? I'd like to try that on one of mine . Once again , great build ! BOB.
  25. I've never been much of a van person , but I can see a lot of possibilities . I like " Long Roofs " and that's what a van is ! Ditto to what has been said already . Really sweet looking build ! BOB.
