  1. That's pretty cool ! Kind of reminds me of the Fireball 500 car .
  2. I spent at least an hour going thru the Cartoon Contest on Coffin Corner . Pretty awesome stuff ! I suggest everyone take a look .
  3. They all are great looking builds . For some reason I'm drawn to the VW Beetle ! Nice .
  4. That's pretty wild ! I've always enjoyed your builds , ever since the Car Model days . Cartoon Cars look like fun ! BOB.

Now that's a Prowler ! What kits did the chassis and engine come from ?
  7. That's really cool ! I like the Primered look . Nice work .
  8. Thank You to everyone for the nice comments . Like I said , this was my first build in a long time and I sure had fun building it ! I've finished 2 more in the last few months and I am currently working on another Wagon . I'm going to try some BMF on it ( another first for me ) . Wish me luck . I'm in the Tampa area and would love to make it to one of the club meets , but in my current situation I just can't travel that far . BOB.
  9. That's a beautiful Nissan ! Congratulations .
  10. This is my first post in "Under Glass" and also the first model I built since 1987 . I built it late last year while recovering from an extended hospital stay . My son said I was crazy and " Too Old " to be building models , hence my screen name . I started with the AMT '66 Nova SS and grafted the roof and tailgate from a '57 Nomad body that I had . I detailed the engine and added Pegasus wheels and tires , and a scratchbuilt exhaust . The tinted windows were to hide the non-existent interior , but I kind of like it . It's not even close to what I see posted here , but it got me back in the hobby and I'm really learning alot ! Thanks for looking . BOB.
  11. Now that's a wagon ! Very Cool !
  12. Is this CBP still open ? I have a Daytona I'd like to post .
  13. I like this alot ! While I was cutting my 300 to make a wagon I thought it would make a neat El Camino type build ! Glad to see it being done . Keep posting pictures . BOB.
  14. Hi High Octane. That '58 T-Bird is the first kit I remember building ! I was pretty little and my Dad didn't want to buy it , but he did . I don't remember much about the kit , but I made a mess of the kitchen table ( I brush painted it and the model ) ! After that my new hobby was moved to the garage .
  15. It's looking good Pat ! I sure like the colors . When you get around to the headlights , drill a small hole in the base and another in the body . Then mount them with a small diameter styrene rod or a pin or something . Sure makes life easier as they can be a real pain to glue on ! BOB.
  16. I know what you mean . I can't put my finger on it either . Kind of an earlier body style with a nose grafted onto it .
  17. Now that is really clean , and really Sharp ! Nice . Nice . Nice .
  18. This is currently on Ebay . Suppossedly made by Showtime Resins . I've searched the net and only Rocketfin.com mentions that company with a '53 Phantom Nomad as "no longer in production ". Anyone have any info on Showtime Resins ? This is Item # 170824482623 I saw a thread here in the last couple of weeks about these years of Cutlass , but couldn't find it . BOB.
  19. This definitely does not belong in other ! It belongs here in all it's glory ! Beautiful build !
