This model isn't exactly a show winner , but it's special to me . I built it in 1971 when I was 15 years old . Lots of firsts for me then , including : opening doors , hood pins , wired engine , tire lettering , and real automotive paint . The shifter even moves thru an H pattern ! I know , it has a 429 in it . And don't even ask about those rear tires ! Somehow I managed to save it thru many moves and to assignmebts in the Far East while in the Air Force . This is how it looks today . I might rebuild it one day , but it means alot to me the way it is . The last photo is the real car . It belonged to my brother - in - law and was kept in our garage during his second tour in Vietnam . Thanks for letting me share it with you . BOB.

WOW ! That blue is awesome ! What kind of paint ? I got this a couple of weeks ago from Scale Modeling By Chris . It's next up on my build list . I don't normally care for resin kits but this one is really nicely done . Does anybody make decals for the sides and tailgate ?

The heater hoses look fine to me . I just can't find the Radiator Hose ! Seriously , Very nicely detailed engine compartment ! I like the color too . This will be sweet when finished .
