  1. I know. I thought about keeping it, but it's just too big to fit in scale with the 1/25 ones. It measures out at 1/24 actually, but still looks too big. It's out of proportion somehow. Don't get me wrong, it looks great by itself, but up against the others, the size difference sticks out like a sore thumb.
  2. Looks good, love the heavy metallic!
  3. Well, I decided to fix up that old Otaki kit that I had in the trade section. Here it is. I thought it was a little bigger than 1/24, but I did the scale conversion and it's actually right on. I finished it in correct Burgundy Fire metallic (aka Red Moondust), with a matching satin Burgundy interior. I wish I could find a set of door handles for it. Guess it wouldn't be hard to scratch the handles out of sheet styrene, foil them and stick them in the top half of the handle cutouts. It's a curbside, and the white walls are Vinyl Nation.
  4. Nice! I can't wait to get this one and build it too.
  5. Very nice! The boy way back when had good taste for these kustoms. Nice colors too. Congrats for preserving them.
  6. Very cool........great weathering, and I love the '70s colors!
  7. Very nice looking build! This one is on my "want list". Love the 4 doors and wagons.
  8. Very nice weathering. I like it!
  9. I think they were having production/labor problems over there. That's what I've heard on the diecast boards. Not sure about the truth of it though. I hate to see they are done. They've sure made some great pieces over the years. I really liked their 1/18 Road Legends line, and their Matchbox sized line from years ago was cool.
  10. Very good lookin' build.
  11. You're not alone Blair, I'm guilty of that myself. This build looks awesome! Love the color, and the patina is perfect. One of my favorites that you've done.
  12. Very nice clean build. As soon as I saw it was a convertible, I knew he was saying "cabriolet". Commonly called that in lots of other countries.
  13. That's too cool! Great ideas!
  14. I have to agree with most here that the redlines and wheels look great on this build. Also love the color!
  15. Awesome build! Love the straight six.
  16. I think Buffy the Violet Slayer used the formula for Mopar's Plum Crazy. Looks perfect!
  17. Wow, this one looks really good! You've found the perfect use for warped promos. Love the side windows.
  18. That looks nice and used. Maybe you should blow a few dents in the front of the Ramblers, then the warp would look like it's supposed to be there........lol.
  19. Thanks for all the compliments!
  20. This build is just simply beautiful! I understand it's not the correct color, but it sure looks perfect on it. What kind of paint and color did you use?
  21. Glad you found it and shared it with us.........it's gorgeous! Now I want one.
  22. Beautiful work! I always thought these things were wild looking.
  23. Looks good! Love the Scat Pack sticker on the headlight door. You may want to BMF the wheel lip mouldings while you're doing the side marker lights too. I like the shots of it next to the Superbird.
