    MPC and Monogram both made 1979 Indy Pace car versions which will give the body style shown in your picture with front air dam and rear spoiler. They also both made kits of the SVO .

    I'm very sorry to hear of Don's passing, like others I was always amazed by his drag car builds and the detail he put in them. May he rest in peace with all the other legends of our hobby that we've lost.

    The Revell sponsored car is from the mid 70's when the Chrysler's factory teams were protesting the unfair weight breaks given the Hemi cars in ProStock so they ran cars in the sportsman classes boycotting ProStock.

    Like everyone here I loved Scott's 55, it was so clean and simple ( less is more ). This build is going to be good one to follow.
