I think it looks great ! I don't think that small gap takes away from how nice the model is overall. Sometime we are our own worst critics.

Paint looks great !

Started with the kit shown . Something different . I really just wanted to chop the top but I got too happy and cut too much so…. I just removed the entire thing . Paint is Tamiya Metallic Orange over Tamiya white primer . Clear is Duplicolor 1K. Wheels and tires are from the Revell Ford F 150 Lightning . Parts box grill and sheet plastic front spoiler. Chassis is a bit Mickey Mouse due to the way I decided to lower it .

Your model is looking very good.

Your updates never fail to impress. We may have to come up with a new word to describe how truly cool and detailed this model is.

Wife and I went out and saw Moonfall . Stars Halle Berry and Patrick Wilson . It’s a sci fi movie about the moon going out of its orbit . Ya, it’s been done . Anyway , if your into special effects and disaster movies this one is not too bad . Without giving anything away the reason it happened is different than what you may have seen in this type of movie . Not for everyone but it kept our interest . But it is way out there !

You are so right Bill. We had the reverse problem. We ordered a toy construction set for my grandson from Amazon. Had it go right to my daughter in Virginia. Just a small set that cost 17 bucks with Prime free shipping. Well. it arrived on Thursday and instead of that one set she got a master case of 6 ! And yes she/we will be asking to return the 5 extra ones.

I saw several of those ( real ones ) at the Barrett Jackson auction a few weeks ago. They are pretty nice but all went for big money. Far more than I thought they were worth. The old restored ones were all over 100,00 and a couple went for much more. I think I may get one of those diecast ones and do a repaint.
