  1. Looks fantastic ! I hope mine turns out half as good.
  2. Don't know what to say that has not been said many times but it is a pleasure to see this all come together.
  3. Here is a not so good photo of the one I had .
  4. I just ordered and paid for one. I bought a new Courier in 1978. Yellow long bed with lift kit and larger tires and custom paint. What an under powered pick up. At the time I bought it I did not realize it was a Mazda.
  5. Thanks Bruce. Still like Cobra's more but I have a new found fondness for these Corvettes.
  6. I wonder if Micro Krystal Klear would work for you . I use it and like it.
  7. This Cobra was donated to me by member ewetwo along with another I built into the Cobra hot Rod . Workbench area shows what I started with . Wasn’t too bad but needed a rebuild . The black paint that the builder used would not strip or sand . I got it as smooth as I could and primed and repainted it Testors Bronze and Wet Look Clear . Decals from my parts box . Made a few small changes . Not perfect but looks better to me .
  8. Not too long ago i bought the Otaki kit. Been wanting to start it but I work on a roll top deck and the kit is a tight fit. May have to work on the dining room table and really dont want to do that. Same problem with the 1/12 gT 40.
  9. Looks great Tom. Love the paint.
  10. I never saw that kit look better. Nice clean work. I really like it.
  11. I like it. What paint did you use on the interior ?
  12. Your attention to detail is unbelievable . Keeps getting better and better.
  13. Yes they did. I think it was called Revolution or something like that. ??
  14. Thank you Carl.
  15. No white tile to be found in the new one in Scottsdale,
  16. I find the frozen ones tricky to get just right. Glad to have one close to me now. I will probably only go 3 or 4 times a year. When I lived in Chicago many, many years ago they were the only place open when the bars closed or sometimes when the last movie played at the drive in.
  17. Thanks David ! I am working on that other Cobra you donated to me. That black paint was so stuck on i was starting to think it was molded in black ! Never did get it all off !
  18. Thank you Dennis.
  19. Thank you Francis. My next Cobra will be normal.
  20. Holy cow ! That is huge !
  21. Thanks Bob. The decals are from the Street Burner Shelby Cobra by Revell.
  22. Well the good news is you have a lot of pieces for your parts box.
  23. This is another Cobra I had donated to me by fellow member ewetwo . Thanks . This one was not really too bad and just needed a little redo . I mainly wanted to repaint and do some minor repairs . First step after taking it apart was to strip the body . I don’t know what the heck the builder used for paint but it would not strip and even sanding was not going to work . Got it as smooth as I could I primed it and painted it with Bronze paint . Now I am adding decals and to be honest I will use some of them to hide some imperfections .
