Man am I glad to have this thing finished . It really taxed my meager talents . First thing I found was the tires were in pieces . This kit is 1/20 scale and a search for tires did not have any results . The wheels were another problem as they were butt ugly and did not match what was on the real car . Next the supplied kit engine . Worst blob of plastic I had seen in a long time . I started looking at 1/18 scale parts thinking they might work . I replaced the kit wheels and tires with a set of 1/18 scale I found on the bay . I think they work . The engine problem was solved when I found I had a 1/18 scale 427 engine out of a die cast Cobra . That also seemed to work . The hood , doors and trunk open on this kit . As it was at one time available with an electric motor I glued the truck shut because it was just a battery box . Tires were too big for the kit wheel wells so I used my Dremel to enlarge them . It didn’t look right so I used some sheet plastic and putty to flair the wells . Made a simple front spoiler because by this time I gave up all hope of making a replica . Paint is Duplicolor Dark Blue Metallic with Duplicolor clear . I light of the problems I had with this kit I am pleased at how it turned out . Thanks for looking !
