My daughter got lucky. Offered and closed on the second place she/they looked at. 40 grand under their budget in Lincoln Park, Chicago. Not where they really want to live but as her husband was hired and now is an agent for the Secret Service ( you didn't hear it from me ) he was stationed at the office downtown in the loop. 4 years and he will be transferred to DC and will rent this place.

I build all the kits I buy with the exception of Cobra kits I buy for my unbuilt collection . Those I prefer to keep wrapped if they are bought wrapped.

Thanks much guys. Even with the problems I have had with these wooden boat models I have enjoyed building and learning from them. A world different than plastic kits. Room needed to display them is a problem.

I always liked it. I can't really explain why. If it was ever made available as a kit ( it won't ) I would most likely buy it. I know there is or used to be a resin one but the cost was more than I was/am willing to pay.

Side doors are 1 inch but the rear doors are shorter.

Did the Datsun pick up because I had a real one. Thinking of doing another Cobra.

Just finished up another one of those 15 dollar boat kits from China . Same crummy instructions and parts are lacking and not enough rigging to do a proper job but having done another one from these folks made this one easier .
