This is the only model I have left from when I built models as a kid. I built this one soon after the kit was released in the 60's. I did update the wheels and tires a few years later. Note that the putty I used ( AMT putty ? ) has not cracked in all those years. -

Did a quick mock up. Body is ready to be cleared. ( maybe tomorrow ) I see there is some much needed touch up on the wheel centers. Pretty happy with it so far. My favorite task is still ahead of me..... BMF. : (

Not today but yesterday my wife wanted to go see the movie " Mothers Day ". I won't bore you with the details but let me just say some people have no idea how to act in a movie theater.

I did one where the tires did the same thing. What causes that ? Dried out tire material ? Interior bore too small ?
