Nice color and the paint looks great in the photos.

I hope to start it in the next couple weeks. I ordered some decals because I decided not to do the black or the blue car. Also need to do some research and get some colors ordered.

I was on a kick of building the wooden kits for a time.

I have been wondering if it has been discontinued. I love the flat black which is more of a satin sheen but can't find it. My usual source has been Hobby Lobby but a check of two stores and on line came up out of stock. There is a couple listed on ebay but the price asking is stupid high.

So that kit I just got has a problem . Was going to do a stock version but when I opened the box I found a stock wheel missing ! Bag is sealed and there is a blank spot where the wheel goes . Weird . I guess I will find a set of some kind in my parts box .

I plan to start this one in the not too distant future . Trying to decide what version to do . Decals are included for the black car and the blue car . Also there are different decals are available for other versions . Once I focus in on that then will be laying in the colors needed . I hear this kit can be troublesome so I may take a break on it once in awhile . If anyone here has built this I would love to know your thoughts and tips . Also any reference someone can point to for chassis colors and such . Instructions have some color callouts but not all and only for these two versions. Thanks !
