  1. Very nice truck !
  2. Thank you all for your replies. I think I will try the solder method . The decals look great but I don't know how quick they would be delivered and want to keep marching forward.
  3. Thank you Larry.
  4. Very, very nice !
  5. I heard that was a tough kit. I would love to know your thoughts as you build it.
  6. Nice work, looks good.
  7. Your paint match looks darn good.
  8. Maybe due to my age but EV's just have no interest to me. That being said after reading and watching videos I have warmed up to the Lightning. Being retired I don't drive all that much so it would meet my needs but, the price ! Almost enough to pay off my home. ?
  9. Search did not help so...... I have chopped the top on a 29 Ford body. I glued the parts together but I am not looking to finish the seem for a nice paint job. Going for a work in progress look. Youtube showed some guy using putty but I wondered if there is a better way. Thanks for any suggestions.
  10. Thanks. Sounds pretty good. Wife likes it so I'm happy. Instructions are pretty good but need to be followed closely.
  11. Very nice.
  12. You did one heck of job with this kit.
  13. That kit never looked better !
  14. I built this kit not long ago and it went smooth. I even got the doors to work !
  15. Bought this for the wife . Bought on Amazon . It’s a ROKR kit . I’m amazed that it works ! Woman on Amazon said her 13 year old daughter built it in 2 1/2 hours . She must be good , it took me about 7 . But , I did sanding , some painting and staining .
  16. You have it sitting just right. I had a Cal Look bug once upon a time.
  17. Thanks Scott. Thanks Michael. As for the base coat it was just Duplicolor grey primer. Normally for a color like this I would use Tamiya white primer but I was out.
  18. I think you found the perfect attitude for your ride.
