When I started a new job in California (1977) moving from Illinois I received two weeks after completing my first year. At five years I got another week and after 10 years I had four. in addition to sick days.

Mine was missing the clear canopy and a few engine parts .

Your model looks great ! Unfortunately with the missing kit parts this will not be able to be built as it should. Just using parts box pieces and some kit pieces and see what I can come up with.

Got this kit off of eBay a couple months ago thinking I would build a replica . I never took the time to check it out . My mistake . Said to be complete but it was not . What to do with the incomplete kit ? I decided just to make a custom and see what I could come up with . Several body mods have been done or will be done . Deciding if I want to open up those rear wheel metal ( plastic ) . Engine will be from the Chevy ll gasser kit . Rest including paint I will make up as I go along .

Heck yes ! I am not one who cares for the weathered or beat up look. I prefer a nice paint job. However I have seen many that are very well done and appreciate the talent it takes to pull off a realistic finish.

Here are some pics of the two Mustang ll’s I had . Both bought new . 74 Mach 1 and a 78 King Cobra . I just happened to be a a Ford dealer in Orange County Calf. when a delivery truck pulled in to make a delivery and the King Cobra was on the truck . Never saw one and bought it as it was being unloaded . They had to prep it as I recall and picked it up the next day . 302 auto . HP was down but I really liked that car . It drove very good .
