Drake has gone quiet on that development. I personally doubt it will ever happen. I hope I’m wrong. Word was they were to be similar to the Moebius products. Their prototype of the low loader drake trailer was certainly impressive and looked like it was going to happen. No prototype of the Kenworth K200 was publicly shown. However, they’ve kept up with their diecast production and continue to develop and release 1/50 diecast and they sell like hot cakes.
cheers

I’m just glad Moebius has taken another risk and have their flat bed trailer coming, especially from a company who don’t even specialise in vehicles. Another new truck kit would be nice though. Would be nice if round 2 would dabble in a new truck kit. Let’s see what 2021 brings.

I’m not sure how true that is. The T600 definitely uses a lot of the same sprues as the w925. It looks like AMT just added different cab, bonnet, sleeper, grill and radiator.

I’m surprised no one seems to know more about the project. They’re definitely selling a lot of truck kits in Australia. Hopefully we’ll know what’s cooking sooner rather than later.

On the real Senna, the owner can’t access the engine (researched the actual car as soon as it was announced) To get to the engine requires a McLaren workshop. Cheers
Ben
Yep. You’re probably right about the licensing. I like what I’ve seen in the video about the Senna. Separate brake calibers look fantastic, plus the modular construction (judging from the parts on the sprue). I’d be very pleased to see another GT3 race car too.

I love my classic trucks. I own a real Mack B61. I’m currently building an Auslowe Alaskan hauler conversion. I sent photos to Jan from Czech Truck Models to help his Mack B Model project to help with the Australian specific items such as sun visors. I dare say you’re right about a classic KW selling well. I would love to see a KW W990 or Mack Anthem. I’m glad we have a pretty good after market to supply some options.

I’m loving the reissues however, we really do need some brand new big rig kits. There is some great subject matter and Moebius with their Lonestar issue around a decade ago was a great start. I really thought Round2/AMT or Revell would’ve done a current American big rig by now seeing how well the reissues are doing.
My plan for my mixer is to use an Alaskan hauler hood and change the wheels.
