Hi fellas. I’m entering the BRBO 2022 with a rebuilder I got off eBay last year. It’s a 1/32 Mack SuperLiner. I will be adding after market wheels and tyres, photo etch badges, aluminium exhaust pipes. Still deciding on colours.

Building on a budget and Tamiya magazine noted the same problems. The tip would be to use tape to protect the areas where you need detail kept and use a decent filler.

I’ll be surprised if I get the 2021 BRBO done. Would love a project for 2022. Something less ambitious might be the go. Moebius ProStar, AMT Autocar or AMT Transtar 4070A.

I’m currently working on one of these. The floor pan and internal aspect of the doors indicate that they may release a left hand drive version at a later date.
The separate headlight and front bumper indicate to me that they may do the rally version too. Hopefully that’ll make people happy.

The Tamiya 959 is from 1987. I’m currently working on one and there is a lot of work to get the engine cover right. That being said, the Porsches about to be released by Revell are looking very good but I doubt they’ll be as good as a current Tamiya kit.

I’m wondering how successful this project will be? I’m not sure how popular a garbage truck will be. The International CO4070 seems to be going well and has a solid fan base. If the Round 2 people are reading the boards, are they looking at a more modern big rig? Just curious.
