Guys, I have a quick question..... I was looking at a '59 Buick hardtop kit build-up on eBay. I missed what it sold for. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to look at past auctions to see what it went for. It was at $50 last time I looked with a couple hours left. Things like that that I would like to have always show up when I can't afford them..........

If you don't like the spray pattern of the engine enamel, you can substitute a nozzle from a Perfect Match can...... Seems I remember it being a heavy spray with the original nozzle.

Carl, if I do put anything on it it will be something simple. I don't want to over-do and detract from the looks of it.....

Here's a quick mock up of it in paint..... I had to find some longer wire axles to kinda fix the track width. I've got some scallop decals from an Edsel kit I may try to use. Still need to polish the clear a bit, then that's pretty much it for the body work.......

So, what is the "malicious software removal tool" that keeps showing up as an update?

That's real skill when you can pull off a clean paint job and a weathered build simultaneously.........

Hey, Guys...... I was just wanting to make sure that those with Windows 7 were aware of this. Seems that about quarterly that Windows puts out an update for the W7 OS. It's a "malicious software removal tool". I just got one the other day, and manually installed it. I don't go on many sites that would have anything to worry about, but it's good to know they still see a need to do updates for this OS......

That sounds like a perfect excuse to fit it with a Carson top!

Hey my friend....... It says that you can clear it, but it doesn't say it's necessary. It just says to use DupliColor "gloss or matte clear coat". It also says that the paint takes a week to cure.....

Hey, guys..... This may be kind of a silly question, but I'm wondering something. Is it possible that the paint that I'm using is flattening the clear coats? I wanted to try some DupliColor wheel paint (I've got the bronze) because it's such a nice color. I think that it's making the clear I'm using (Perfect Match....) go flat as it dries. I've been using Perfect Match paint for color coats for a long time, but this is the first of the wheel paint that I've tried...... This wheel paint smells a lot different than the perfect match does. Makes me think it's a completely different paint..... Thanks for any insight on this!

Cleaning my apartment today..... We have inspections coming up this week, getting ready for that. I don't mind inspections as they make me clean deeper than I normally do. Feels good to look around at how tidy and clean everything is........

You guys are missing the point of the show.... It's to celebrate early customs like the Hirohata Merc and Sam Barris' '50 Buick. Those cars laid the groundwork for all the customs that followed.... They were pioneers, and had tons of Klass.......

Guys, I have to put this build on hold.... We're having inspections here at the Complex. We aren't allowed any type of spray paints, so that means I have to box all my model stuff up until the inspections are done. I'll get right back on this as soon as I can........

We have what is called a King Snake here.... They're not poisonous, and eat other snakes. The Garter snakes, you can just pick them up...... The only ones you really have to watch out for are the Rattle snakes and Cotton Mouths.....

Just ordered myself four Playstation 2 games from Lukiegames.com...... On the way are Stuntman, Spy Hunter, Smuggler's Run, and Magix Music Maker Deluxe Edition. Really looking forward to getting them within the next week......

That's cool...... and you used semi-gloss on the walls, that means you can wipe down the walls with a wet rag if needed (can't do that to flat paint....)
