Here in the complex, there's a Bunch of nice trees that provide us shade...... The Bradfords are my favorite, but we have Dogwoods, Pecan trees, Live Oaks and the like! The Magnolias are especially nice when they are blooming.......

Model T specs were the inspiration for the Beetle; same size engine, same number of passengers, or at least that's what I've read...........

Michelle, I don't think that the admins would make it to where we HAD to pay to access the forum........ Maybe a paid subscription to the forum would do things like make it ad-free. The mods and admins are a great bunch, so I don't think they would lock any of us out.........

Do any of you guys remember the SNL skit where Horatio Sanz played Ozzy? They were joking that nobody could understand his speaking, but figured out they could understand perfectly what he was Singing! So they had Horatio, or 'Ozzy' sing what he had to say........... I must be getting used to the hotter temps, as today's 90' F felt pretty good with the breeze that we had......... Me and Emmett pretty much stay in the shade, too, so that helps.

I've only had any experience with two turbocharged cars........ First, when I was 16 I had the chance to buy an '80s Dodge Daytona with the 'charged 2.2L engine. It was dark plum with matching interior, and was a manual! I wanted it, but getting it didn't work out. Then some years later I purchased a Pontiac Sunbird that was turbocharged. If it had been a manual it would have been more fun........ It ended up burning a valve, so I sold it......

Greatness can be achieved by doing something, I'm not exactly sure what, or I would be great...............

The management here at the complex is giving an inspection of our apartments on Wednesday........ That's a good thing, as it makes me do a deeper than usual cleaning! I never worry about passing, as I always have for the 17 years that I've been here.......
