Man, that paint looks really good! So good in fact, that I don't believe I would tempt fate by trying to clear it......... With the luck you've had with this paint job, I believe I would quit while I was ahead! I hope that's an okay suggestion! I would just hate to see you have to strip it again.......

Michael man, I had my fingers crossed that the Hudson's paint job would go smoothly for you! The final paint and clear always wracks my nerves to do, but it's very rewarding when things go well......... It looks real good! You should foil it, though! It would be about the same amount of work and will look better.....

It would be cool to see your cruiser, Bob! I'm thinking that I can grab one of those bikes for about $20 or so.......... It is a thrift store! Parts can get expensive though, especially anything chrome.

Hey, everyone! While riding through town not too long ago, I passed by a thrift store that had a bunch of bikes out front..... I've always wanted a custom/lowrider bicycle! I do believe that as a gift to myself I may try to pick one of these thrift store bikes up! I've been looking around online at builds and accessories and such. I think that a 'beach cruiser' will be ideal for what I have in mind........ Searching on IG, I found this pic. I don't like the 'twisted' parts, but other than that it's perfect! It's basically a cruiser with forks and handle bars. The girl is giving a 'sign', I thought I should block that......... Any of y'all have any kind of bicycle project going? I know a lot of you like the old Schwinns and such! Also, feel free to post pics you may have from online............ Thanks

Thank you, Bill sir! The kit uses those metal pins to hold the wheel assembly on with......... Should be easy to adapt the diecast wheels though...........

Curtis, you were absolutely right about the wheels being on this diecast.......... Here's a pic, I think most of them were yellow? Now a question! Does anyone have one of these and can tell me how the wheels are mounted? I don't generally mess with diecasts, so I'm not sure how they go about that.....

That's pretty neat! Did you see this topic about 3D printed bike engines? The 1/6 scale is being discussed, but one great thing about printing things is you can make them whatever scale you need......... Looks like the builder selling them is scale_model_choppers on Instagram..........
