We as kids used to feed the Garden spiders that we always had during the summer/fall........ We would throw them grasshoppers just to watch them silk 'em up!
-
I ran across that site (owlcation.com) just today looking for info on my spidey friend here....... Looks like a clean wholesome Science site that isn't over most folks' head.

You mean, she doesn't give you guys the warm fuzzies? Her thorax even looks like a skull! I live near a wooded area, so I get all kinds of critters in the yard......

Hey, guys! I just thought you would enjoy some pics of this spider that has her web right by my back door....... She's been there a good month or so. Yesterday she molted, that's the shell in the pics with her. Must be painful and traumatic to molt, as it seemed to take a lot out of her. The small spider in the second pic is most likely a male.....

Queens of the Stone Age! It's hard to believe that Soundgarden haven't made it in yet....... Are Stone Temple Pilots in? I doubt it.......... -

Snake, did you choose the cake flavor? I always ask for a pineapple-upside down cake every year........
-
Yea, they're pretty much the same...... I had painted some on those, though, and the chrome on these is so much nicer....... I've had the tires so long that the inserts are getting brittle!
-
Thank you, Guys...... I do indeed have a color chosen, though I may have to get the auto parts store to order it....... I'm looking at 'Pacific Green' from DupliColor.

Hey, Guys! I'm kinda making some headway with this one....... It's the 'Car Show' release of the '36 Ford. You can build it as a coupe or convertible. After a few thought processes ( LoL ) I decided to go with the coupe variant....... Just getting a quick mock up going! The wheels are from the AMT '56 Fairlane and the tires are '56 T-Bird parts. I can already tell that this one will need a bunch of massaging to get the main body parts to work better together...... Anyway, here's to another project!

Sixties muscle cars came about through a lot of one-up-manship between companies.......
-
Style of wheel can be a big determining factor in the theme of a build......

Happy Birthday-ness, Snake!

Guys, I ended up getting the Car Show release of the Monogram kit! I was wondering...... Are there chopped top conversions for it? I really want to do a roadster with a chop. I maybe could handle the windshield frame, but what about the uptop? and Are there chopped coupe lids out there? Thanks for any and all help, guys!
