  1. Thanks a bunch, guys....... That probably says a lot about the fitment issues with this kit!
  2. That was a good idea, building up the color first then the wet coats......... Wet coats are how you get slick paint, it looks like it worked for you!
  3. Thanks a bunch, guys! Now that I know how to work around this kit's issues, I might get another one day to build a chopped convertible.......
  4. I managed to get some outside pics!
  5. Cool, I'm glad you guys all like it!
  6. It's lit with just a 6500K daylight compact-florescent bulb...... It's the light under my range hood. There's also a small LED lantern in the mix. I tried to use the lantern to cancel out some shadow.......
  7. I just hope that I did a good job capturing the actual color in these pics! You remember, I was having some problems with the paint looking blue......
  8. Jim man! I really appreciate the nice comment...... I didn't use Testors paint though. It's actually DupliColor PM Pacific Green. It's a Ford color.
  9. Probably my fault for not quoting you! I looked on ebay to see if someone might be selling parts to that kit, but didn't have any luck....... Sometimes though, you'll catch one selling maybe a built up or junk build that you could use parts from..... or just ask here!
  10. Carl, you can look for it under glass! I just finished it today.........
  11. Well, guys...... I guess I can call this finished! I don't envy you guys who were stuck building these old tool kits when they were new. This wasn't too bad, but it wasn't without it's troubles..... That's it guys...... Thanks for following the WIP!
  12. That's a cool car...... Do you have any deets on the little Mazda beside it?
  13. What are the other four of your Top 5 sneakers? Just kidding......
  14. Thanks, guys! Yea, it seems I'll be able to actually finish this one here soon..........
  15. Just wanted to show you guys that I've got the major body parts together! It took some coaxing and problem solving, but now it's pretty much ready to join the chassis......
  16. This is going to be really nice! The overhead shot with just the tonneau cover looks the best to me......
  17. What engine was in the green Monte? It looked like a nice car..........
  18. Hey, Guys! I'm sorry, I haven't been following this thread, but I thought you all would like to see what zaina's 3D printed Dodge pickup looked like..... I owned a '71 sweptline short wide bed pickup for a while, and the proportions are pretty spot-on! I didn't get the frame or engine, since I wanted this to be 2WD....... I'll be using the Foose FD100 chassis as soon as I figure out how to flatten the rear frame rails......
  19. That's the difference between a good builder and a GOOD builder! Only way to fix gate scars is to touch everything up...... The nicer kits have the sprue attachments where they would be hidden on the part......
  20. So, what are your top 5 reasons that top 5 lists are silly? LoL!
  21. Now, THOSE are awesome builds........... Gotta get one of the 250 Testa Rossa kits, my favorite Ferrari!
  22. You mean, you actually build? I don't think I've seen any of your models.......
  23. We seem to be on a 'best of' kick, so let's show the top 5 builds that you're the most proud of! I took these pics today.... Anyways, show the 5 best of the best builds!
  24. Wow! You did a really good job on this.......
  25. Married..... with Children Just Shoot Me Newsradio Cowboy Bebop Ed, Edd, and Eddy........
