  1. It IS a cool car....... Funny thing, I haven't watched the show since I was a kid. It's probably more corny than the Duke boys now.....
  2. Those are good pics....... The last one shows how low and wide the Coyote X should be. The kit's proportions are just a little off, making it look too long.......
  3. Those are two nice rides! I bet the '67 is a 440 car, being a Rapid Transit car.......
  4. You pretty much have to build up the interior in mock-up, then keep removing material from the door panels where the dash spreads them until the interior fits up into the body. It's kind of a pain, but worth it to have such a nice finished product......
  5. "Thems Elves", said Santa when asked about the little folk in the workshop.
  6. Taxis in Cuba are usually made from several different car brands.......
  7. The '62 T-Bird is really an excellent kit....... The only 'bad' to note about the '62 is that the dash is too wide. There's a bit of test fitting involved to get the interior to go up into the body. ( I wasn't sure if you knew........ )
  8. Sandwich contents should not be sand and a witch......
  9. Two weeks is a fortnight, if I remember correctly.....
  10. My art teacher used to tell me the same thing! Thanks for your critique of my drawing here, I really value it..... I went ahead and shaded the grill a little darker, and did the background ( or lack of one ) in colored pencil......
  11. My jar of Tostito's salsa con queso and bag of tortilla chips ran out at the same time.......... Yea, I'm easy........
  12. Big Pharma..... where we don't create cures, we create customers.
  13. Yep, sure is! That's what is in the kit..... They're just very undersized for this car. I know the BFGs have that distinctive tread, but I was thinking of whatever tires I use, I would get some of the decals for the BFGoodrich lettering....
  14. That's more for simplicity sake..... easier to ask for than four tires with the two rears being wider but the same profile as the front........ That's kinda what the reference pics I've seen have going on. The rears are wider, but the profile of all four is the same......... If it's cool, I'll send you a PM!
  15. That's fine, Carl man! I'm gonna move forward with the build anyway, and just replace the tires some time in the future.......
  16. Carl, I'm needing four rear tires from either the AMT Phantom Vicky, or the AMT Prowler......
  17. It seems the more I just try to 'learn my lesson and be a blessing' ( my life motto ) the more easily things tend to work out in my favor......
  18. You know, if you think about it, Purgatory probably isn't half bad.........
  19. I might would try to contact the seller...... Not for a refund, but for tech support. If he's that good a seller, he will stand behind the product and at least help you with setup......
  20. Thanks, Guys! It's funny how something evolves as you work on it..... Since there is three groups of stripes and three colors in the stripe, I'm gonna highlight each color in each different group of stripes..... That way all three colors are present..... You'll see, it will make sense later.
  21. I've been listening to Incubus forever, but for some reason never heard this song until today..... Any other Incubus fans?
  22. What do you guys think of this? I call it 'Volk SWAGGIN'.......... LoL! Actually, I just wanted to post that if anyone needs anything pertaining to the VW body, I'll gladly trade whatever you may need for some tires for this project. Still haven't found a decent set of tires that won't rot on me..........
  23. I WAS that hippie! Once...... in a past life. I've seeeeeeeen those colors.......
  24. Work can be enjoyed if treated as play, according to Alan Watts......
  25. This looks really good! I have one of these in progress and kept thinking during the build, if it had an engine it would be on the same level as an enthusiast kit.....
