  1. That's Cool........ My neighbor friend called it a 'puddle jumper'. Got the white for the main color.... It turned out all different sheens, so I put a coat of matte clear on everything to make it all the same shine.
  2. If that says 'Firedome' down the side, it's got an early hemi engine...... ( the First real muscle car engine! )
  3. I've got a coat of primer on all the 'body' parts...... There's still a few seams showing. I've been filling those with PVA glue, seems to be working! Also, I put a coat of clear on the props to finish the engines......
  4. Thanks, guys....... I'm glad you all like it!
  5. Something funny..... A lot of folks on auto selling sites brag about a car being from the Southeast. Georgia and Florida are mostly swamp!
  6. Hey, Guys..... Time to switch to something non-automotive for this project. Kit is from Ollie's. I worked the gap away going down the spine with an emery board. There's a bit of misalignment along the front of the wings...... Not sure how to correct it. Our resident vintage model plane expert Mr. Snake said to just 'have FUN with it', so I'm not going to add any details or anything, just what's in the box...... The engines are about the size of a quarter. I painted the engines black, then dry brushed the details with silver. This kit only has 40 pieces, kinda simple. Should be a quick build!
  7. Eh is something Snoop said he left in Canada on a visit, but he did pick up some of the BC......
  8. Personally, I wish that I COULD forget my childhood, most of it anyway......
  9. Bill, man.... I'm just now digging into this kit. There's stuff in the box to build the polar expedition plane......... There's skis for the landing gear, a loaded down sled, a couple/three dogs, and two figures in heavy coats. I'll be doing this one up more like the plane in your link, though........
  10. Show me a program from that time period that WAS a good show.
  11. Be that a chicken biscuit and cheese fries?
  12. Thank you very much.........
  13. Well guys, it's close enough to call this one done for now.... Got this kit at Ollie's. It's a decent kit! There's a WIP topic for those interested...... Thanks for letting me show this, fellas! Not everyone knows what all goes into a build....
  14. This one is pretty much done, Guys............. I'll put up an Under Glass post in just a few!
  15. Thanks, Carl! This little weekend track rat is juuuuuust about finished......
  16. Thing is, I want to be a comedian when I grow up.
  17. Les, that comes in different colors, right? I'm going to need some in yellow when I start my Coyote X build......
  18. Cool water and rocky beaches are found in SoCal, where we on the east coast have warm water and soft, white sand........
  19. I guess final fitment is a success!
  20. Almost ready to join the chassis and body together........
  21. The Perfect Match paints DO need a clear coat..... Since they're a lacquer, you can use pretty much whatever clear you'd like. They make a clear in the small PM cans that works really good............
  22. All of your work there looks really good! Were you using the Perfect Match paints? ( I imagine you were.... ). The trick to spraying those is close, fast passes. It kinda dries in the air if too far from the substrate. Also, the first coat isn't going to cover very well..... That all looks good!
  23. Build all you want, we'll make more....
