This is going to be cool to watch! It's the perfect era bike for a TROG build.......... I wanted to maybe offer some help with the wire wheels! Here's a link to one of the tutorials on the forum. It's just one of several tutorials in the tips section..... I'm not sure if lacing them like in the link wouldn't be a little easier? I realize you're pretty much done with these, but maybe another build could benefit?

Now I'm confused........ Model Roundup has the Ultra Bright foil, but read the caveat at the beginning of the description....... https://www.modelroundup.com/product-p/bmf-004.htm It says the BMF-001 is the more liked product, but the 001 foil just has 'chrome' on the window sticker...... IDK?

That is correct and I apologize......

BMF has brought the old foil back. I believe it's just called 'chrome'......... Everyone has the same issues as you with the ultra chrome. It's just not good.........
