  1. The 2019 Aston Martin Vantage. The factory is not far from here so we see Astons on a regular basis before their release.........
  2. Cheers Anders.

    Widebody BMW M3

    Monster! Superb!
  4. Thanks guys. That's not smooth paint that's very high gloss plastic as it came out of the box!
  5. Thanks Gary.
  6. Thanks guys.
  7. Thanks Peter.
  8. Thanks vamach1. Yes I remember buying/building an Airfix 1/24 of the Gulf Oils version in the '70's, and even that had a lift up rear body and full engine transmission. and lift up bonnet with a spare wheel!
  9. Thanks David. Yes this is the Le Mans winner in 1966 in that colour. Yes I found a number of pit doorways in my Google search and printed this one off. I found some stiff polystyrene sheet and made up the dio today.
  10. Thanks Tyler.
  11. Built box stock, not much in the way of detail, steering at the front and just a transmission at the back and a metal rod axle joining the two wheels together. But a good PE sheet and good decals are included.
  12. Thanks Bruce. Yes I got it from scaleproduction.de, in two resin pieces adding a window, shutters and a drain downpipe, fixing it to a plywood base then adding a tiled plasticard sheet and sand onto glue, then painted it all.
  13. Well jchrsf, I'm half way through already as it has not engine detail in the kit only the transmission.
  14. Thanks PARTYSMART. I buy to build, I really don't have the space to collect and having/needing more than one of each doesn't appeal to me.
  15. Thanks cobraman. I thought it might be a little too way out!
  16. Thanks chrisf, I've got a 1966 Ford GT40 on the table now!
  17. Bought about ten years ago as an 'already started' from ebay. Not much in the way of a chassis (broken) Tubbed it painted it and put it back in the box. Fished it out last week added a lowered plasticard chassis, rear axle, added an engine, and various other things, including wheels/tyres from a Tamiya Ford Capri DTM.......
  18. Thanks Brian & Ashley.
  19. I'm looking forward to seeing this jcrisf.
  20. Thanks Scott. I try and do something different each time, as I have no preferences with what type of vehicle I build as long as it's not Military!
  21. Wow! I wish I could build something like this but have no engineering experience or room for machines to do the job.
