  1. Interesting Garry, I have one of these 'Spy' cars on the shelf, not knowing what to do with it, you may have the answer, but I don't build many planes therefore have no spares. But lets wait and see!
  2. Cheers Marty.
  3. Cheers William. I agree to all you've said!
  4. Thanks Chris.
  5. Cheers guys.
  6. Cheers guys. That's right when you see a rally or rallycross car they are always dirty, hooray!
  7. Thanks guys.
  8. The kit... The inspiration..... The outcome...The roll cage made from sprue and bits & a brass Kirkey seat padded.................... The finish...........................
  9. We had a Sales Manager for Audi live a few doors away in the day when the first one of this model Audi came into the UK (the road version). So I had a chance to drive it! Then as a rally/race marshall I saw the standard length Audi Quattro and this short Sport version on the RAC rallies in the UK, before they banned Group 2 cars altogether!
  10. Well done Bob, just the car for the UK! With our high fuel prices and narrow roads it would be ideal!
  11. Thanks jchrisf. And thanks again Dann, wow what a kit!
  12. Well done, superb build and colour. We had one the same colour in the mid '70's, after a dark green one and before a sea blue one!
  13. I'm trying to strip another kit as well but here in the UK we don't have what you have in the States.
  14. Neat!
  15. That's a pleasure. I make most of my surfboards from casting plaster or just shaping plasticard......... and print a few decals. How or what are you using the strip the paint off? I've put one of mine to strip and I'm using brake fluid, but it's only taking one layer off at a time!
  16. Here are the photo's of your box top and the parts for mine and both should have three surfboards and the decals for them as well...... The box top for yours..... The box side of mine.... The parts and decals....................... And how mine should look built.....
  17. Well Chris after years of searching I found one of these on ebay here in the UK. But it's called the Hawk Sandpiper, and seems to have all the features of yours, here's the box top, as it's still on the shelf. What I will do is have a look at it and report back...................... It seems to have 'surfboard' style front wheel covers but I'll look it out and take some photo's.
  18. I'm converting this............ To this.....................
  19. I finally found this, after years of looking and no I haven't built it yet. For some strange reason, I seem to be frightened to try!
  20. Thanks guys. The one big problem is that I'm in the UK, where most of what you suggest is not available, only the brake fliuid. Mine isn't working that well but the can has been in the garage fo 20+ years and is most likely full of water as it picks up condensation in the air very easily .
  21. It's a Pocher Mercedes Benz Cabrio 1930's. The body is all plastic, but the rest is as the real thing, metal chassis etc.
  22. Well thanks guys. I suppose you might be surprised to know that I love decals!
  23. Thanks William, yes it's a great kit, with a number of aftermarket decal options.
  24. Very sad to see! I saw him at one of the F1 races last year.
  25. Superb JC it's coming along well. We meet up with some friends each Sunday morning for a coffee and a chat, Steve has the 928 5 litre V8 GT.
