  1. Thanks Bruce. Yes I got it from scaleproduction.de, in two resin pieces adding a window, shutters and a drain downpipe, fixing it to a plywood base then adding a tiled plasticard sheet and sand onto glue, then painted it all.
  2. Well jchrsf, I'm half way through already as it has not engine detail in the kit only the transmission.
  3. Thanks PARTYSMART. I buy to build, I really don't have the space to collect and having/needing more than one of each doesn't appeal to me.
  4. Thanks cobraman. I thought it might be a little too way out!
  5. Thanks chrisf, I've got a 1966 Ford GT40 on the table now!
  6. Bought about ten years ago as an 'already started' from ebay. Not much in the way of a chassis (broken) Tubbed it painted it and put it back in the box. Fished it out last week added a lowered plasticard chassis, rear axle, added an engine, and various other things, including wheels/tyres from a Tamiya Ford Capri DTM.......
  7. Thanks Brian & Ashley.
  8. I'm looking forward to seeing this jcrisf.
  9. Thanks Scott. I try and do something different each time, as I have no preferences with what type of vehicle I build as long as it's not Military!
  10. Wow! I wish I could build something like this but have no engineering experience or room for machines to do the job.

    Tamiya AMG GT3

Superb! Just as the real one!
  12. Yes Michi I saw that too!
  13. Cheers John. Yes it's VW's clever body wrap colouring and design that makes it look like that!
  14. WOW!! That certainly different! Very well done. As an ex- race and airfield marshall at Silverstone I seen nearly all of both Mini variants and bike engined cars, over 25 years, but this is so different!
  15. Thanks again jchrisf. I think after building two they are perhaps better value that the Tamiya kits and more up to date.
  16. Thanks Chris. If I didn't have shaky hands I would have built the lamps with all the tiny metal pins supplied. So I added plastic straps and painted the top matt black for night stages...........
  17. Thanks Dann. My comments are above about Belkits and the amount of parts, quality, PE parts etc, the interior detail is amazing. And extra tools!
  18. Thanks Tim. It built very well it has a quality about it, PE parts, seat belt materials, highly detailed interior, super standard decals, but I chose the Colorado decals as they are more colourful, and... the side decals from the front edge of the doors , to the back are all one piece, superb!
  19. Built box stock and added Colorado decals.........................
  20. Superb look and finish, well done!
  21. That's great. We have a number of various cars here in the UK that are purpose built as daily driver/track day cars, well done with this 911!
