Thanks guys. Well I hope it won't be my last 'T'. I'm looking for a rare kit, the 'Uncertain T'.

Cheers Ron, thanks for the comments and yes I've seen a similar kit but the box art shows side decals and the headers are different........................ Different headers and decals, no decals with this one! Everything else looks the same.. This kit is the Ford T Street Rod.

Thanks guys. I tried other colours but had problems with drying even after 2 grey undercoats and 2 of white undercoat. Firstly yellow gloss, clean it all off! Then Black Gloss and the same reaction, not properly dry just a bit tacky after a couple of days in a warm room! So clean it all off add all of the undercoats and tried Plasti-Kote rattle can chrome, 3 coats and 2 coats of Tamiya Pearl Gloss. At last!

Thanks guys. So my first build of a Ford Model T in 60 years of modelling has come out OK!
  9. Oh dear I had one of these over 20 years ago, great big thing!
  10. A car that I've not built before............
  11. I've never seen thi smagazine in the UK, Iwonder if they export to the UK? How much are they at your end please?
  12. Superb build going on here 935k. This was one of my favourite cars back in the day, when I marshalled at the Silverstone Circuit.
  13. Superb build, so authentic! I saw the CR5 when at Le Mans a few yaers ago. In practice at the beginning of the Mulsanne Straight you could hear the CR5 coming before you saw it.
  14. Cheers Gary, these are very difficult to get over here, so we have to grab the chance whenever we see one!
  15. Continuing my 'Woody' theme, I've just won this on ebay UK, It's says 'Woodie' on the box although there's no sign on the box art. I've found one at a USA show which is the delivery van with wood so I'll copy that.
  16. Thanks guys, yes it turned out very well! Now I have to look for another crazy kit!
  17. Superb Erik, thanks for posting that. It's just 3 years before I started by Marshalling 'career' at the Silverstone Circuit here in the UK, meeting most of those drivers, and hundreds of others including royalty over nearly 30 years at the circuit.
  18. Thanks Bob, yes I've seen surf dudes in Australia like that, one was at our resort behind the front desk! He wore long surfer shorts every day and I think he did surf lessons on the 34 mile beach 100 yards from our resort!
  19. Thanks guys, real cool build, great fun!
  20. Cheers Dave, I always, if I can. go for the weird and wonderful!
  21. From 'on the Workbench', the final pics.................
  22. See final pics..................'Under Glass'.
  23. Update..........Well.........because the chassis and everything else is askew, not square, I've had to shave off and bend the floor to fit. Then you have the problem of the tailgate not fitting, but guess what...............it did! And a tatoo and earing for the driver........... a few flames.......... and the horn and rear light fit.................... and of course there are only exhaust manifolds, so I attached some ally tube to finish the exhaust off. More tomorrow hopefully.
  24. Yes John well spotted!
