Update..........Well.........because the chassis and everything else is askew, not square, I've had to shave off and bend the floor to fit. Then you have the problem of the tailgate not fitting, but guess what...............it did! And a tatoo and earing for the driver........... a few flames.......... and the horn and rear light fit.................... and of course there are only exhaust manifolds, so I attached some ally tube to finish the exhaust off. More tomorrow hopefully.

Yes John well spotted!

Yes that's right Hemi er...... John.

Hi 426-Hemi, When you look at the box art you immediately notice the rear wheel closest is off the ground that's the way it's made. Superb! Crazy!
-
Yes Dave it certainly is. Imagine trying to build a car with a twisted chassis/frame, that is this kit!

As I'm waiting for various printer ink cartridges to be delivered, I'm building this indoors instead of in my garden cabin workplace..................... Floor in............. Rear Door..........

The Slixx decals really make it stand out, well done. But I've just looked on their site and these don't appear.

As a regular Bathurst supporter here in the UK, I'm going to try and pick this up from somewhere this weekend. I may have to wait until next week to see highlights on Eurosport or Motors TV, both here on Sky TV.

Nothing yet Dann, It's taking a lot of measuring, lengthening a chassis, plasticard checking to see that I have enough. Having recently, over the weekend losing an auction for a Sandpiper kit, ( that went for over $100) similar to the Surf Woody, I'm thinking of scratchbuilding one of those! Busy time! And of course producing more woodgrain decals for the Silly Surfers one.

Well Dann I'm trying to build a truck/lorry at the minute. It needs a fair bit of scratchbuilding.

I don't think I've ever had a transatlantic parcel delivered so fast. I ordered this through Amazon UK from Mitros Toys in New Jersey on the 25 January and it came today the 31 January! As soon as I opened the packaging I started to laugh, what silly box art work! I don't normally save the box top art, but as this is by far the funniest I'll pin it on the wall of my cabin where I do all of my modelling! I did ask before I bought it what scale it was but it's not anywhere on the box, but I'm pleased because it is quite big and lends to a bit of detail work!
