Wow, Blair, that interior looks fantastic. Good thing too, otherwise it would be out of place with the rest of this build . -
Amazing paint jobs, Dale. Can we get a tutorial?
-
Oh, this is gonna be fun. Count me as "tuned in".

Think 1/32 is small? Think again...

Wow! Where did you get that giant exacto knife? Seriously, that's some pretty impressive detail for this scale. -
Nice color and nice paint. I think it would look great with an ivory roof.

Worth waiting for. Nicely done.

Pretty radical chop; looks low and mean. How far did you drop it? Looking forward to another masterpiece. Love the RatMad, BTW.

Actually, no. Of the two bedrooms, the one in the basement is larger and will likely be more comfortable for sleeping in in the summer (possibly the winter too). Also the small main floor bedroom is on the corner of the house with two nice sized windows for good lighting, so the workbench and office will go there.

In the thriving metropolis of Greeley, Co. Built the same year my Father was born, and they're both still in good shape. 1928 must have been a good year.

Another hero gone, but he left behind a legacy that will be celebrated for decades. A life lived well and fully. Thank you, Sir Jack. You are already missed.

Can anyone identify this vehicle?

I'm thinking a Cat C15 turbo diesel and very low gearing. -

I stumbled upon this bizarre conveyance while doing a random image search, and haven't been able to find any info' on it. It's clearly from some B movie, but which one? I love the look, and want to build something similar, since I just happen to have acquired some earth-mover tires and was wondering what to do with them. -

That is completely obvious! Thanks for sharing your fun with us.

That's a very nice, clean, well detailed build. You can add me to the list of people who love the color combo (seats excluded). My only critique would be that some of the panel lines are a bit too dark. This is often a problem with light colors if you use a traditional black wash on them. A better choice would be a slightly darker shade of the base color, or at least something in the same color range. A very light application of very well thinned burnt umber oil paint would be my choice.

Another very nice and very realistic looking model. If I may offer a suggestion, it looks to me like your white balance setting, on your camera, is not right (too much blue). This usually means that your camera is set for indoor pictures, under incandescent light, while you're actually shooting outdoors. Other than that, your photo's are well focused and nicely composed.

Beautiful. I love the color. You've done a nice job with a VERY difficult kit.

Simply gorgeous ! I love that interior; the color selection and execution is stunning.

I love the old (and older) open wheel cars. You are certainly doing this one justice.

You clearly have a plan, here. I'm anxious to see the tie in to the thread title.

Speaking of shiny plated parts, what did you use for a base coat under the pale gold?
