  4. for the 87-88 mercedes 190e 2.3-16 group A race car.... I have found just a couple outside shots, but would love a few interior pics..
  5. Whats the donor kit for this to build a stock version??
  6. Nice job on all of them, but I especially like the Rod Shop Charger!!
  7. that looks good!!! I plan on doing both the convertible and Z10 coupe versions here in the near future!!
  8. 1. my local Hobbytown, I'm actually on a first name basis with them.. 2. ebay 3. www.megahobby.com 4. www.ehobbies.com 5. www.hlj.com , hobbylink japan 6. www.hobbysearch.com 5&6 for japanese kits and accessories
  9. great looking Skyline!!! I hope that when I eventually build mine it turns out that good!!!
  10. my "what if" Carl Edwards Mustang GT500 drift car, fabbed up a rollcage and rear seat delete, radio delete, aded strips of styrene to floor to replicate bare floor pan, PE belts and pedals, Aoshima wheels, and fabbed a cold air kit. JWTBM Alan Kulwicki Hooters decals. and finally, a Revell '66 GT350H. embossing powder for carpet, shabo decals, engine wiring and future brushed on for clear.
  11. First up, a Revell '69 A12 SuperBee. Tamiya Metallic green paint and TS-13 clear. Resin wheels from a fellow board member. Shabo transfers. added flocking and engine wiring, heater hoses, fuel lines with fuel blocks from square evergreen rod and brake lines. next is Sterling Marlin's '85 AutoShack (now Autozone) Monte Carlo, built using Monogram kit, tamiya paint, powerslide tire decals, pro-tech rollbar padding and wetworks decals. Revell of Germany Audi Quattro Rallye car, just aded pro-tech rollbar padding, kit decals really sucked!!!!
  12. Revell 1/48 B-25J Gun nose bomber Revell 1/48 P-40B Revell 1/48 EA-6A Intruder.... Revell 1/48 F/A-18 E/F.... and all are still in the trunk of my car, cause the wife wont look there....
  13. that would be hilarious..
  14. I like the redlines......what are the motor plans??
  15. I totally agree Dave, those old Monogram kits are'nt the most detailed kits, but they just have the right "look" when done... The '70 Boss 429 Mustang '69 SuperBee '71 GTX '71 Hemi Cuda '80 Trans AM (building one right now) '70 Chevelle SS '79 Z28 '78 Corvette.... all great examples...
  16. I agree about the Revell and Monogram stuff......Their kits just seem to me to be just a bit better than AMT stuff.
  17. OK Bill, now you have to mount it under a car!! looks really cool!!
  18. I'd say the Revell '69 Nova, with both it stock parts and ready made drag stuff should be in consideration also... when did the Revell '68 Firebird, 69 Charger and AMT '71 Charger come out??

    1969 SuperBee

another nice build!!! you've got the 70's, early 80's vibe down pat!!!! I have a few of those MRC wheel sets to do some 70's street machines myself...
  20. that looks good, it's got a nice late 70's street brawler vibe to it...
  21. Len, does the panzer grey floorboards match your reference?? I'm just curious if a red oxide or primer gray floorboard might be more accurate....
  22. that goat is gorgeous Marcos, great job!!!
  23. I worked at an insurance company...and our tonque in cheek company motto is " We insure stupidity"... and its sad but true..if there were less stupid people in the world, your insurance rates would be cheaper... the insurance company on the veyron wont be able to deny the claim unless the driver has violated a specific clause in the policy that specifically states that he cant be doing something he was doing at the time he went swimming... I'd hate to be the stockholders of that ins. company when that total loss check is written...
  24. Rob, I love all your builds, they just have the right look to them!!!
