  3. Even a blind hog gets an acorn every now and then...
  4. Magnets have been employed successfully as part of therapy for depression.
  5. Payoff from investing in the right stock at the right time can be substantial.
  6. Aside rhymes with snide, which I thought of when I read "mean and nasty".
  7. "Park anywhere" seems to be the SOP of a particular breed of entitled driver...or maybe they just don't understand what all those confusing lines everywhere mean.
  8. Rewarding animals with treats when they do what you want them to results in fat, manipulative animals.
  9. Neighbors who respect fences and privacy are less likely to wind up buried in the back yard.

  11. Anybody who knows this one got it via a Google image search.

  19. I'm applauding so enthusiastically, you can probably hear me if you stick your head out the window.
  20. "Safe" is apparently why people believe they need 3-ton crash-mashers to drive to the grocery store.
  21. Frankly, I just can't understand how anyone anywhere anytime can justify making a mess like that. Yeah, I'm well aware bought headers often have fit issues. I've been building cars for over 5 decades, and I've never let a car leave with even dimpled primaries. And I'll fix interference issues for free if the client can't afford it, because I'll never be associated with mangled hacking messes. But, you know, that's just me. And I'm so very very glad I'm wired like that. Rant over. EDIT: Probably the same guy, after "learning to weld and doing it right".
  22. Ummmmmm...no. Though I really do love seeing quality work like that performed by highly skilled craftsmen, obviously master car builders. I must be doing it wrong. EDIT: I found the thread that photo came from, and apparently the guy actually thinks he did good...and a buncha other clowns defend him. Anyone who'd post that on the web and be proud of it, and folks who'd defend him...well, kinda self explanatory.
